# Click Set — What's New (covers everything since 3.0) Hey friends — this is a big one. Here's what's changed. ## Your work stays put If you've ever opened Click Set on a Sunday morning and found a song's sections just… gone, that's fixed. I finally tracked it down: a background Planning Center check could quietly replace a song with an empty one. Planning Center now never touches your setlist on its own — it'll tell you when a plan has changed, and importing is always your call. While I was in there I went through every place in the app that could delete or overwrite something and put a confirmation in front of it. Nothing disappears unless you say so. And when something does go wrong, you can get it back now. Every song keeps a history of its Default arrangement, so an overwrite is recoverable instead of final. There's also a Check Library Health tool in Settings that finds and repairs damage from older versions. ## The reference track player The bar got a real redesign — it tucks under the main screen like a stacked sheet, and there's a tab to pull it down out of the way. When it's down, it's silent. Handy mid-service. The tools you actually reach for are out of the menu now: BEAT, LINK, and VOCAL REMOVER sit right on the bar, labeled, so you're not hunting with the band waiting on you. The reference track always plays with the click and guide. ## Learning it There's a guided tour that walks you through building your first song in the real app — no slideshow, you drive it. And Settings ▸ Tutorials has hands-on playgrounds for reference tracks and quick edits, where you can practice on a real rig that actually makes sound. ## Smaller things that add up - **Song key** is a real control. It comes in from Planning Center on import, and you can set or add a key yourself. - **Backup pedals.** Point two pedals at the same cue, so if one quits mid-set the other still fires. - **MIDI settings** are a lot simpler, and on Mac, Bluetooth pairing finally happens inside the app instead of kicking you out to Audio MIDI Setup. - **Decimal BPM** — 67.5 is 67.5. And the click sits on a grid that can't drift away from the recording over a long song. - **The guide voice** got clearer: the final count rings out properly, and section names get out of the way so the "2" still lands at fast tempos. - Vocal-removed instrumentals come out at full level now. - Dragging songs into the order you'll play them works right. ## And when something breaks The app writes down what went wrong. If audio drops out or a save fails, it says so instead of failing quietly, and there's a diagnostics log you can send me.
