Useless

THIS APP IS SO BEHIND THE TIMES. ALWAYS CRASHING CANT EVEN CREATE A CERT AT THE MINUTE WITHOUT IT CRASHING. HOW YOU LOT ARE IN WITH THE NIC I DO NOT KNOW.

Extra Features

Copy and paste board feature not working properly. Copy board then make alterations on the new board that has been issued and it automatically copies this on to the other boards.

App crashes

The app crashing whenever you go to open any new amendment 2 cert or template (the 2c ones)

Easy to use

I’ve just downloaded this field user mode on our iPad.
Setup was easy, I just following the instructions on the email sent by the guys at Clik.
The app is nice and easy to use, with drop down menus.
All good😁

Easy to use

Good optimisation, sends straight back to office for checks, simple

Problems with app.

Maybe in the last update, any problems with DBGRID component are visible.
When we add rows in the component, it crashes the app.
It’s accept maybe 15 rows and after broken.

Adding images

I complete my certs on the iPad, on the EICR’S it would be really useful if you could add images that correspond to the obs and recs that have been noted on the Cert.

Clik

Everything you do makes me want to go to a different provider, your original app was good, but today maybe the last straw. On lockdown, very few ops working, so less important having a useless app. Not impressed.

No good

I have this software on laptop and mobile, as an employee and therefore Field Mode user I am tearing my hair out with the address book . Just let me write what I want in the boxes on both laptop and mobile, at the moment it has to have n.a in all unused address boxes and you can’t edit the addresses from field mode. Also little things like capitalising the first letter of every scentence are missing.

Bring back the older version

We have been using the 17th addition of this software since its creation, this new version is not a patch on the old, it continues to have problems both desktop and mobile versions. Very disappointed and seriously considering going back to Amtech Whom’s software ‘FastTest’ we used previously. We can not understand why Clik have removed the restore from back up function, very worrying, you now have to ask Click to restore the database for you. Very disappointed, tried and tried again to accept the change, but still feels very poor and a backwards move.

Massive step back

Been using the old app for years and worked well, the new app have removed so many useful features. The address entry is shocking, forces you into entering details like phones numbers (how can I add a number on a communal area installation?) preset list of circuits has been removed so I now have to manually type every time. When you sync a Cert it removes it from the iPad, unlike the last app where I could make last minute changes if I needed to. The whole thing has been pushed out ready for 18th edition. The only support we get it “we are looking to add this in upcoming updates”

E.P.S

This new software package is needlessly hard to use. Its worse than the old software. To change an address because of a typo on a completed certificate just took 15 minutes to go from 37 to 35. The spellcheck has been removed. You don’t all ways want to add a telephone number to a certificate but it’s a required field.

Please just release the new certificate on the old software.

Not impressed

We have been with Clik for several years and always been happy. Not now the new software is shocking and the service is also terrible. Clik better get this sorted quick or I shall be taking my business elsewhere

A lot worse that the old app

This app is a lot harder to use than the old app, on the old app you could see all the circuit details on the screen, on the new app you have to scroll from side to side to see everything.

The screen jumps when you select a text box so the box is in line with the bottom of the screen, this is annoying.

The text boxes that require numercial info dont auto switch to numbers on the keyboard like the old app did.

There is no N/A button. There is no ‘jump to next text box button’.

Overprotective device info isnt available on the app, therefore you have to type in 61009 or 60898 instead of selecting off a drop down menu.

Another downfall is that you cannot export certs from the old software to use on the new software. Meaning that all of the 20/25/33% yearly fixed wire tests that I carry out to cover the FWT over 3/4/5 years have to be re-written out onto the new software.

Hopefully these problems will be fixed as using the app has gone from very easy and quick to drawn out and frustrating.

Clik electrical Cert 2

Old app was better. New one worst application. I wish I could get money back.

New is not always better

I have used clik for a few years and i was very happy with the old app and very rarely had any problems. Since the new app has been out I have had a lot of problems, I understand a lot have been fixed in updates but there are still a few things that used to work really well but are now gone.
Firstly the certificates now disappear once uploaded but they used to stay saved locally in the iPad so they can be referred back too at a later date. This used to be very handy for me if the office had questions about a previous job.
Another problem is the signature on the schedule of circuits disappears when sent to the desktop software. There doesn’t appear to be a easy way of adding a signature without attempting to do a signature using the mouse which is very difficult.

No Support

Called for support only to be told someone will call you back at some point today, great if you have got all day to wait in front of your Pc. Was told that call volume was high, no wonder new software is useless.

Step Back

Well done for taking a step backwards. You’ve done well

Too many changes and for the worse

Along with the desktop version, the new 18th Edition Clik software release is difficult to use in comparison to the 17th. Many features such verifying the certs and emailing pdf copies of certificates to customers seem to either, left off this version or not obvious to do. All in all, a very disappointing product.

Not as good as the old app

Takes a lot longer to do certificates as the templates can only be made/edited on a desktop where as on the old app you could edit them as you go on each one to suit. A big pain when you have a large amount on minor works to do!
