About

Stop guessing what size air conditioner you need. ClimaScan uses your iPhone's LiDAR scanner to measure any room in seconds and calculate how much cooling power it requires. Just scan, answer a few quick questions, and get a personalized BTU recommendation — complete with a suggested unit size. SCAN YOUR ROOM Point your iPhone and slowly scan the space. ClimaScan uses Apple's RoomPlan technology to detect walls, floors, and ceilings automatically. No tape measure needed. No LiDAR? No problem — enter your room dimensions manually. GET A FAST BTU ESTIMATE ClimaScan calculates your cooling needs based on: • Room dimensions and floor area • Ceiling height • Sun exposure (shaded, normal, or very sunny) • Kitchen heat load • Number of occupants • System type (window AC, portable AC, or mini split) Your result includes an estimated BTU need and a recommended standard unit size (6,000 – 24,000 BTU) so you know exactly what to shop for. DESIGNED FOR REAL PEOPLE ClimaScan is built for homeowners, renters, and anyone shopping for a cooling unit. The interface is clean, fast, and jargon-free. No HVAC engineering degree required. SAVE & COMPARE Keep a history of every room you scan. Compare results across rooms to plan cooling for your entire home. PRIVATE BY DESIGN All room scans and measurements stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, tracked, or shared. Ever. IMPORTANT NOTE ClimaScan provides a quick consumer estimate based on standard sizing guidelines. It is not a Manual J calculation or a substitute for a professional HVAC load assessment. For unusually large spaces or complex installations, we recommend consulting a licensed HVAC professional.
