Climate Valais

The Klima Wallis app from the "Forschungsinstitut zur Geschichte des Alpenraums" allows to retrieve historical data on climate and natural hazards within the canton of Valais (Switzerland). A variety of information for example on avalanches, floods, earthquakes, storms, glacier collapses etc. were recorded. The data was collected through research in archives and other sources. The entries are dated and, where possible, georeferenced.
