Improvement over last couple app engagements x
I love this app a lot of the time which makes it hurt when it betrays me
bad with pronunciation and syntax
pokes fun ay real world situations thats funny now but will get very dark later if not curtailed
issues
- forces you to have the volume up and plays sounds even when muted and silenced
- gifs on practice quiz frequently do not match up with the word, or contradict previously marked answers. ex. vocab word is deft-skillful, quick. they play a gif of a cartoon hero punching towards the camera rapidly. when you check that it matches the word deft it marks it incorrect. there’s others that make very little sense or are too vague to really work in favor or against.
-the ui for the discover page is either glitchy or just poorly planned. every time you add a word to your list of known words it backs you out of the list it was on. this makes it so every single word you have to go to the list, scroll all the way down, mark memorized, get kicked back to discover screen, then do it all over again. when each list is 30-40 words long this takes forever. super unintuitive.

good foundation with a few issues
edit: why is the fireplace animation in “my library” not able to be silenced? i heard crackling which honestly freaked me out since my volume was off, to which i discovered that even if you keep your finger on the lower volume button it continues to raise your volume and won’t turn off.
i’m not sure if this is intentional or a glitch, but whenever i add a vocab word from discover page (on one of the word lists) to known vocab it auto opens to “tap to add words”. the only reason i think it may be a glitch is because i did this for several words without it opening and now it’s started popping up each time. it’s pretty inconvenient to be an intentional feature, so i’m hoping it’s a bug that will be fixed. if you need to add multiple words at once it’s inconvenient to have to back out of this pop every single time.
i’d also like to suggest a one time fee to become a member. i think it’s fair keeping games and quizzes limited for free users, but it would be nice to see a non-subscription based model as well. please keep the words and vocab lists unlimited though.

Harsh rating for misleading representation of app. Calls itself a language learning app when it is limited specifically ONLY to English, so should be called an English learning app. App otherwise seems to be well designed but the misrepresentation is unfortunate and unnecessary until they demonstrate additional language utility.

This is a scam, DO NOT DOWNLOAD
I downloaded the app and first, I needed a confirmation and it filtered it to scam/Spam. I though nothing of it until it gave me multiple warnings that the same thing was used to scam people and log into their account and do thing with it. Do not download this, it’s a terrible app even if it seems like a dream app. it’s not worth it, I would just find a good study then this.

speaking features
i only just now downloaded this app and based on the first 10 minutes of usage, i have mixed feelings. the overall idea and execution is relatively nice, however the speaking feature is terrible. i’m not sure exactly what’s wrong with it but it cannot detect most of the words i was trying to say (not user error trust me) and kept saying incorrect to the point where i just had to say i couldn’t speak right now.

A good product needs improvement
The product is useful for English learners who want to build their own word list. However, it has two obvious flaws: inaccurate GIFs and inaccurate voice recognition for word pronunciation. The flaws are acceptable and that’s why I’m still using it.
I have a request. Could you add a new setting to stop the Daily Recommendation word list? I use Climb to study the words I want to learn only, and I’m tired of seeing irrelevant words in the daily quiz.

Lots of potential
Mostly good, but laggy, incorrect pronunciations for some words, and gif matching to words is difficult especially if the word has multiple meanings.
It goes beyond vocabulary building
Stick to it for at least six. I would recommend many years. Subscribe and you will see substantial improvement in your vocabulary. It has been life changing for me till now. See english is not my first language.

This is great app and I believe that if you
1. Keep forgetting how to spell
2. Want to improve your vocabulary with new words
Why I say this is because this is what I wanted to do at the start and it has absolutely delivered. I love this and I think you will love it too!

Pretty decent app
I really like the approach to learning words in this app, especially the daily 15-minute word practice. However, I would love the ability to customize the GIFs because they don't always convey the word's idea accurately. It would also be great to have the option to choose words for the quiz, as currently they are selected randomly. Overall, I find the app engaging and effective for vocabulary learning.

Could I add words to my list by sharing them from the books app? I i can hit share, choose climb and have it add the word to my list just like I could share to telegram or discord, thx

La veille où j’ai joué n’était pas compté et pour continuer de m’entraîner il fallait payer car je n’avait pas récolté assez de potions magiques. Je spécifie que j’ai choisi une option de base sans abonnement il y environ 8 jours. Du coup, j’ai désinstallé jeu. Je suis très déçu de cette application qui ne fonctionne pas correctement et on ne peut rien faire pour signaler le bug, il faut juste payer pour continuer à jouer. Sinon l’application est sympa, mais sans plus.

Please consider adding announcements about learned words on the phone screen as flashcards that would be extremely beneficial to remember vocabularies for so long.
Glitch - daily recommendation not updating
Love this app. I am a daily user! However, there seems to be a glitch where my daily recommendation is not updating. Plz fix :)
