Past precipitation data would be awesome

I use this app every weekend. The only thing I would love would love to have would be precipitation data for the past couple days. I live near sandstone boulders that are fragile when wet and having that info would be extremely valuable.

Favorites don’t work

I liked this app for a while because it allowed me to save favorites and look at weather for all my favorite areas at a glance, making it faster and easier to decide where to go climbing.

A couple years ago, though, the favorites page stopped working. It just shows an endless loading icon. This makes the app pretty much useless for me because it’s easier to view my saved locations on normal weather apps.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it still doesn’t work. Disappointing.

Looks to be broken

Many climbing areas have no more data

Add area

Possible to add Mud Mountain in Truth or Consequences , NM please?

Decent app, does the basics

Thanks for the app, nice to have the basics.

One critical missing thing is that you don’t show past weather. In many places you can’t climb for a few days if it rains to protect the rock, any chance you could also render the last 3 days?

Good! Some bugs

Three questions

•is there any way to add the Nut Tree boulders in Vacaville, Ca?

•is there any way to have your favorites listed in an order I want (or even the order I favorited them) instead of ordered (from what I can see) randomly and I’d have to find the one I want?

•is there a way to fix the bug of when you scroll through a state and pick an area to favorite or view, when you press “Back” to go back to the state’s area list, going back doesn’t load to the top of the page (as what it does) but instead loads to the location down the list you selected the previous area you viewed?

Necessary

Can't climb without this!

Crap

Shows rain clouds with 4% chance of rain....

Somethings wrong

The app has stopped working Along with the website. It is no longer giving accurate forecasts. my climbing friends and I have had to stop using it. It says it's raining and snowing with 0% chance of precipitation. Then it says 80 mile an hour winds? right now it says it's raining in Los Angeles. Well... It's not soooo.

All you need

It's all you need. Adding things to your favorites is super simple if your not an idiot.

Simple, beautiful & functional!

This app does exactly what a climber would expect & require when it comes to quickly & remotely checking the exact weather of oftentimes off-the-grid obscure locations. It's very easy to use & quickly search by actual crag name. Regarding the one negative review and the issues associated, the search function does get gummy if you don't complete a search query, but once completed the user can easily navigate back to the menu & home. The issue of favoriting locations (which is a key function) is a non-issue. There is a star next to the locations, press the star & the location is saved as a favorite, very similar to Gmail. So don't let the 1 negative review dissuade you from trying this resourceful free app. Give it a try, and no, I am NOT associated w/ the developers of this app, just a very enthusiastic climber. Great job on the app though! Now go out and climb!!

Really?

I'm sorry, I thought this sounded like a cool app, but this is nowhere worth the space it uses. God only knows how you add favorites. If you hit search you cannot escape it unless you actually search for something. It offers nothing but a dumbed-downed weather forecast of well known areas. Thats it.
We can only assume the people that have reviewed it thus far with five stars have had something to do with the development of it.

useful tool !

I must say this app is very good tool for climbers to check the exact weather on the mountain !

Fantastic!

Extremely functional, super useful. I love this app!

Great UI, clean look & feel

Only suggestion is to indicate how you choose favorites - it's not obvious at first. Instead of having a blank page when you click favorites, display "you have not picked any favorites. Click on the star next to a location to add it to your favorites", or something to that effect.

Handy app

I have been using the cable channel app but this is more useable. The nearby areas button is real nice. Thanks for this app.

Fantastic!

The website was great on its own right ... the text message weather updates were a godsend. This is definitely the next level. Thanks for the app!

Without instructions, it took me a second to figure out that clicking on the stars would add locations to the favorites page. But now I get it.

Excellent!

Works great!

Finally

Nice. Glad to see this up finally!

Have been waiting for this for a long time!!!

I think it's just awesome. The map option is really cool. Just need to figure out how to add favorites. YAY YAY YAY!!!!
