They trick you into thinking it’s a free app and then once you waste your time installing it they tell you you need a liscence.

I’ve been using Clip Studio Paint for quite some time on the iPad now, I must say the subscription a little high but I absolutely adore drawing here. The brushes and other features give this app so much potential, best out of all the apps I’ve tried. There are a couple flaw with some features but none of them I use as an Illustrator and I’m not sure if an animator would need all of them either!

Honestly I was skeptical on if I’d dig it cause a lot of art apps just don’t vibe. I’m loving clip so far Clover a popular v tuber recommended it as what she uses so you can thank her for speaking so highly of its uses
Inability to import custom ICC profiles on IPad version.
You can’t import custom greyscale color profiles on the IPad version, which is a shame because that’s a good way to check values.

it seemed so cool, but to use it i had to get a plan to use it. i couldn’t login without it saying ‘no plans found’ and i couldn’t use it for free. i really hope they fix it in the next update.
Don’t Bother Downloading
Gives you a limited free trial before forcing you to buy a subscription to use the app. Otherwise, you cannot save your work or use features outside the extremely basic ones. I fear nothing has escaped the disease of capitalism
Ye no don’t buy this app get ibis paint instead
Ibis paint is way better at least ya don’t need a subscription to do most things on it even though it hard to animate on ibis paint at least it ain’t greedy like clip studio paint. Also I’m pretty sure all the 5 star reviews r bots and not actual people cuz no way people would rate this app 5 stars
It’s a requirement to pay
I was really excited to use the app and do a couple of sketches, but then I was confused because I couldn’t use it, AT ALL. and then I found out I have to pay to use it 😩, so that’s disappointing. It’s really a shame I wanted to use this app so badly for free, but maybe in the future I can use it, when I have money.

I can’t believe this
I have and was enjoying the app for two years now, and I have had several instances of artwork randomly disappearing but I could always get it back after closing the app, but unfortunately today I was working on an art work until it froze and when it finally settled ALL but one artwork disappeared. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and I didn’t save most of the artwork because I didn’t except it would delete a year and several months of progress so now it’s just gone. If you are interested in downloading this app just know that you will need to save every single piece or else it’ll delete everything you have created

I just downloaded this game and I don’t want to buy the plan but I can’t go back from buying the plan, I just want to do a cool digital graphic novel without paying money, if anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me.
Why do i have to pay for features that shouldn’t need to be paid for ?
I think its stupid and really scum that you have to pay just to save your art no one should have to pay to save their own work

I like the app a lot. But I would appreciate it if you could add some drift car/race car 3D templates. And make it so that you can press the “undo” button os many times as you want w/it still working. Please update the app soon! Thanks! 😊

the learning curve is steep but its a lovely program after you get over the first hurdle or two it becomes more enjoyable. still lots of issues that need addressed bur over all pretty good.
