Brilliant for building real communities
I run a growing community across the UK and CLIQ has genuinely made organising our events so much easier. We run everything from walks and jogs to hikes, socials, yoga and other wellbeing events, and having one place where people can discover what’s happening, sign up and connect has been a massive help. Also being able to have chats where people can connect and chat outside of events is amazing too.
The team behind CLIQ have also been brilliant with us personally. Really supportive, responsive and genuinely interested in helping communities like ours grow rather than it just feeling like another events platform.
Still loads of potential for where the app can go, but I’m really excited to keep using it as our community grows. Would definitely recommend it to anyone building a real-life community 🙌

Great social app
A fantastic app to find new hobbies, meet new people and connect, especially in a new area. Very easy to use and such a variety of options on the app, highly recommend!
Incredible experience as an organiser and as an attendee
I have been using cliq to host our charity fundraising events for Empower LATAM UK, and we have had the best experience.
Super easy to use and manage the balances and metrics post event - also massive shout out to Lucy W for her support! Every time we had a question we got a super quick response from her. You are a legend.
I have also used cliq to attend some community events, super super user friendly but also very easy to find new communities!

Thank you CLIQ for making it possible to run my community. I use CLIQ both to find events for myself and to list events for my community and it couldn’t be easier & smoother. No other app compares (& I’ve tried plenty)

Sharing data including your face
You HAVE to use a photo of your face even if you want to remain private. If you don’t your account gets blocked even after putting all of your information in. Furthermore they opening share all of your data with other companies. Do not waste your time and use Meetup instead

Great community builder
So far this has been a great app for community events! I’ve attended some amazing events and met such wonderful people! There seemed to be quite a few teething issues at the start but the app has improved massively now.

I’ve been using this app for a year now and I’ve not been disappointed so far! It works seamlessly without glitches and I can easily navigate to my events and aligned clubs. So far it’s been working well and I’ve managed to go to quite a few events in London. Thank you and keep up the good work! 🙂

Good app but needs improvement
This is a great app for discovering new events and groups, however there are many problems with it.
Firstly, although there’s an option to save events, there’s nowhere to find these after they’ve been saved. Also, events are organised in no clear order at all (chronological or location based would be great - maybe an option to see events across a map would be good?).
The app also glitches a lot, freezes and also crashes - meaning you have to go back and scroll through loads of events again till you get to where you were. Another thing is if an event poster posts a series of events, they all show up in this list and you have to scroll for ages past them which is really frustrating. Can these please be grouped together?
Overall it’s a great premise and really useful, but it does require a lot more extra work from the user’s perspective than it should.

Worst app ever
Compulsorily ask u to give all the permission you have, otherwise u wouldn’t be able to use the app. U have to give permission to location sharing and notification first before you can enter the page.
Exceptional events platform
I’ve used this platform as an attendee as well as an events organiser. Everything runs so smooth, payments are on time and I had no issues with anything! Thank you xx
Wellness community
Nice app . Love the cliq all wellness activities like pilates , tennis and more. You can find any city near you .. they do community event to, i really enjoy it… i hope more community event ..
Great app to find events and make new friends
I like this app it is great to find social events free or ticketed and meet new people. I’ve been to a few events through finding them on here. The only thing I would say is the UX (user experience) design needs working on. I am unable to view events in a chronological order and I am usually sat there for ages scrolling to find events that are coming up soon. It would be good if you could view events like a calendar so you could easily see what’s happening when!

Thank you for your review! We do allow you to search by today, tomorrow, this weekend, this week but we are introducing a new calendar on the event page so thank you for your feedback as it helps us grow!

Privacy issues
I cannot access my tickets without giving my location to the app. The login flow break if I do *not* want to share my location, and the PII. I just want my ticket, I don’t even want to use the app
