User reviews

Great concept, well executed

This app solves a problem that iOS doesn’t handle very well by default. The mode system makes a lot of sense once you get used to it

It can feel a bit confusing at first, but after the initial setup it does exactly what it promises. I’ve been using it daily without issues

Nice design but to expensive

I waited for this app to be available from pre order because I was curious of how this differs from just using Screen-time not knowing there would be a subscription involved basically blocking any advantages it has over Screen-time.

Free only gets you one mode with a 3 app category limit. Screen-Time don’t have this limit. Maybe if there was a one time price for app Camouflage, exclusive app icons, location based app limits I’d bite..

Response from developer

I’m really sorry it felt too expensive, and thank you for supporting Cloak from the pre-order. Cloak is built on top of Screen Time, but it adds extra layers like more flexible rules, location-based limits, and a more guided experience. Still, pricing should feel fair for you, and for all users. Could you email me at support@cloakguard.app? I’d love to understand your use case better and talk about how we can make the value and pricing feel more right for everyone.
