It deletes way more from sites than you want. But I still got spam calls and emails! So not worth it!
Dark web and racism
I use this, and was utterly appalled to see an ad on FB that was openly racist. It started with a voiceover of someone speaking flawless English with an accent from the India/Pakistan/Bangladesh Subcontinent. It featured a white mustachioed alpha male-looking tool who informed the accented caller that he was now using this product. The clearly AI-generated voice was portrayed as being afraid of this app. As the voice rose higher and higher and the male voice started saying please, this racist responded with a rapidly widening grin. He was taunting the voice that was programmed to express fear. It was performative cruelty. I felt sick.
People who work at data centers are humans. Blame our corporate overlords not the person working in hell for the intrusion. I’m canceling my subscription. Please do the same. There are other, more effective apps, to control security. Don’t support racists.
Furthermore, I know that my SSN is on the dark web. I have lots of identity theft insurance, but I keep trying things to fix the problem. This app is another failed experiment. Plus, I’m still getting lots of spam calls.

Won't renew at expiration
A lot of my missed calls for when I don't have service which is common because of my work. People call me and leave voicemails so I do see those notifications from the app but when I click on them they disappear and they don't even appear on my iphone dialer. I'm hoping the data removal of my personal information from third parties is helping and I like that they provide a virtual number but the call guard feature is very disappointing.

False Advertising
This app and service are a complete joke. I’m glad I received a promotional subscription and not a full price one. The AI spam filter which was supposed to “eliminate all spam calls overnight” made mine increase 10 fold because every time the AI assistant would answer a spam call, it would register my phone number as a number that a person answers with the auto dialer the scammers use. I went from having 10-15 spam calls a day to 90-100 at one point. The only thing that has very slowly reduced the number of spam calls is me deleting Cloaked and answering every spam call on mute and letting the auto dialer hang itself up after failing to register a person answering. Even then I still get 30-50 a day now all because Cloaked made the problem worse. Then they had the audacity to gaslight me after I deleted my subscription and tell me the reason I was still getting spam calls was because I deleted their app! Um, no, the reason I’m getting so many spam calls is because of the app.

Don't upgrade to family/annual
Works great as a monthly individual subscription. I tried to upgrade to an annual/family plan and they charged me but then everything quit working. After engaging the worst AI support chatbot I've ever encountered Inal no longer a happy customer. It hasn't done anything for a couple months. So a waste of money.

My subscription expired last year, so I decided to renew it.
Unfortunately, the renewal link does not work. I have also tried contacting customer support, but no one has responded to help resolve the issue.

Spam calls increased after installing
And good luck trying to cancel. That was a chore.
BIG WASTE OF TIME & MONEY
This is supposed to help with spam calls and everything else you give them all your information and they do absolutely zero for you! It is the biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent on an app!

Needs another bug fix
Unable to allow Cloaked to access iPhone contacts, iOS 26.5.2. Can only get to a Cloaked ‘bot,’ which was no help.
Cloaked does NOT support Consumer Cellular users. That should be made clear to consumers during sign up.
I wasted nearly $100 on this app, which is now worthless to me.

Great until you no longer want to use it
This app works relatively well until you no longer want to use it. I was able to cancel my subscription easily (thanks to Apple) but even with the cancelled subscription, cloaked kept screening my calls and it’s hoops to jump through to get it removed from their end.
More spam calls
I paid to clean up but it ended up having more fishing calls for personal loans and tax related scams!!
Refund
Once you start a subscription there is no way to cancel it. App Store says it’s canceled, their website says it’s active. This is fraud. Apple should crack down on this. The only way around it is to get a replacement card .
The worse customer service everrrrrr!
Legit did nothing to help me. Sent me the same “AI scripted” email over and over with the troubleshooting steps I said I tried and didn’t work. Only be responded with the same damn email! Once I finally got a human there was no sincerity, no offer to try other routes, just sent me links to request a refund and to cancel my subscription. A literal joke of a service!

I like it but…
I like this app a lot for all it does to remove my data from data brokers but there is one important thing not functioning correctly. The call silence function. There’s been numerous times where calls from important people get silenced. It’s even happened to people that are not only contacts saved on my phone but also on my favorites list that have been silenced. I also am not a huge fan of playing tag your it with other people just because my app won’t let them through. Love the no spam calls but would equally love not having to explain to my parents why I automatically sent their calls to voicemail every time they call and can’t get through.

Cloaked is the best service on the market for removing your private info from shady data brokers. The included identify theft insurance policy ($1M) is great for peace of mind. For what you get, you can’t beat their price. Also, Michael from Cloaked did an excellent job helping me restore access to my Cloaked account. Don’t believe the reviews elsewhere saying you can’t speak to a live agent ever. That isn’t true! Their staff are friendly and very helpful. Several months into it now and they’ve removed my data from hundreds of data brokers! A+++ service!

ZERO customer service help
I paid for the duo plan and I’m growing beyond frustrated with the customer service of this company to the point I’m leaving a 1 star review in hopes they will help.
I have the unlimited plan for mobile numbers and twice now they have turned off my ability to create number phone numbers. I’ve reached out to tech support and they just never respond via their in app chat. Well they responded once and now just leave me on read.
I’m leaving this app and going to MySudo and SimpleLogin. Companies that actually let you use what you paid for.

There’s such a great app and wonderful for me now I’m just waiting for them to get their next update going that includes spam text and protection
Best Privacy app on the market
I have been using cloaked for a while now and I tell people all the time at this point that this is probably the best app on my phone. They have removed 2878 of my personal records from data brokers and are constantly looking for new exposures. They add more new features to improve their services and add value all the time. I would 100% recommend cloaked to anyone
