I decided I needed to switch cell phones companies. Right now there is an issue with the one I'm in. But decided to delete the phone number I had with the former. To see if that might help. It didn't work but figure give it a day or a week try the whole.thing again to see if that period of time works? Maybe an update is needed? Who knows. Time will tell. But the data removed holy cow! This app is cranking it out! If your looking for a all around so am filter and data remover? This does do a very decent job. When it is working properly. IPhones unfortunately can be fickle!

Sucks! Tells the new user needs to download the update but it doesn’t work. It’s a cycle of trying to update the app. Give me my money back ! Scams are everywhere these days
I started getting MORE spam!
I got annoyed by a handful of calls and texts so I got Cloaked. I used it religiously, my app says I’m “super”… I get WAY more calls and texts now. It’s like they shared all my data with these websites.

Do Not Use
While they may be good at cleaning data from the internet, they also make it difficult for people to call you by having an automated service require the caller to answer a number of questions and then not leaving a phone message for you. They simply hang up the call. My husband has a terminal illness and the hospital wasn’t able to contact him!!
If all these services are the same as this one, they are not worth it.

Terrible Customer Service
I purchased an upgrade to add my husband and the link wouldn’t work to allow him to sign up. I eventually had to go to the chat with is only manned by their AI. The AI said it would take 24 hours to get the account set up manually. That never happened. A couple days later I emailed them and the AI responded there as well and I got the same response. I paid for a service we cannot use. We needed the VPN.
Cloaked reached out to me asking to contact them via email. That was already done twice is forget that waste of time. They also provided me with a customer service phone number. Sat on hold for 12 minutes until I was told to leave a voicemail and they would call me back. They haven’t contacted me from the AI chat or the emails I’ve sent to them. I’ve paid for a service on July 26 that should have been easier set up for the additional user. It is now Aug 3 and I still couldn’t get ahold of anyone. I tried all their methods. I’ve spent way too much time trying to resolve an issue that is completely broken from their end. What a frustrating joke this is.

More spam emails than ever before
I signed up for Cloaked with the hopes that I could protect my privacy and reduce the spam coming into my email. The result- suddenly I am getting a mass amount of spam from websites I’ve never heard of and never visited. All in less than 24 hours of signing up for Cloaked. It seems to have made the problem ten times worse instead of better. I sure hope it didn’t do the same with my personal information online. I cancelled my subscription, but I wish I could go back in time and never try it in the first place. Very invasive and increases spam everywhere.

Has potential. The main reason I signed up was for the virtual card feature. Unfortunately it’s unavailable through the app. I tried their website as well but it redirects me back to the app which is frustrating.

Totally messed up my phone
DO NOT INSTALL!!! After installing this and following the directions to set up, NO calls were coming in, including from my contacts uploaded to the app. After uninstalling, still no calls were coming in. I could not get it fixed and had to do a full erase/reset on my phone and pull in a cloud backup from the day before I installed it. I STILL didn’t have service and had to be on the line with my carrier’s tech support for an hour to fix everything.

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO Tammy!!!! Was having trouble with my account do to a typo. She was able to find out why, correct it, & resolve the issue I was having for a while. Can definitely recommend this service. If anything goes wrong they will fix it for you. 5 stars.
Skeptical at first.
I went on Reddit before I tried this out and the reviews were mostly negative claiming this was a scam. I was getting 5-8 spam calls per day so I had to do something. Keeping my phone on ‘do not disturb’ and silencing unknown callers is unrealistic, especially when I’m waiting for real calls. After a couple of weeks of using Cloaked, I barely receive any spam calls and if I do, it screens them so I don’t have to wonder if it was a real person. I love the cloaked phone number as well. Now when I have to put in phone number in to verify stuff, I just use that one. The only thing they could add is an email feature. Phew. Thank you Cloaked!

Basically Useless
After about a month of regular use the VPN completely blocked me from being able to access WiFi or cellular data. I ran through all of the trouble shooting recommendations and got nowhere.
And honestly I saw zero reduction in spam messages despite the App reporting very high volume of removal from spam brokers. The app is essentially of zero value.

No calls come through
I have it set for contacts to come through but they don’t. A voicemail that is not mine picks up and God knows where those voicemails are. My kids and husband cannot get through. I have disabled the app, disabled call forwarding, deleted my account with cloaked and it’s still happening.
I’d just use whatever your phone provider has rather than an app that makes you miss important phone calls!

Missed Calls and Interruptions
It does not work well for my situation. It caused me to miss calls from doctors and the hospital. It also kicked me off of video calls with my doctors when it was trying to block an incoming suspected spam call.
I have deactivated my account and have deleted it, yet still the phone system keeps popping up and blocking calls. I’d really like this for the true spam and robocallers, but my healthcare system has too many numbers to add to my contacts.
Trying to get this off my phone is like trying to get rid of malware.

It does not work at all. They will show you numbers to make you think it works but it doesn’t. I still get hundred of scam calls daily. Their feature is no different than the one that’s built in with your phone. Don’t waste your money.
