About

The bell struck eleven and the Alderman lay dead in the belfry. Three people were inside the clock tower that evening. Each one tells you where they stood at every hour. One of them is lying. Clockwork Alibi is a deduction puzzle game. You don't follow a script. You test alibis against evidence until a story breaks. TURN BACK THE CLOCK: Spin the brass dial from VI to XI and watch the tower rewind. Every suspect walks to the floor they claim to have been on at that hour. You see their alibi play out room by room. SEARCH THE ROOMS: Six floors, six hours, and a limited number of winding keys. Each search costs a key, so pick your rooms with care. Clear the fog and look for cigar ash, ink smudges, a glove fiber, a cane mark on the boards. The body only lies at the scene from the hour of the murder on, so the scene itself tells you when it happened. CONFRONT THE SUSPECTS: Every clue points to a habit: a left-handed grip, ink-stained fingers, a walking cane. Show a clue to a suspect who shares that habit and watch them react. Small liars crack and confess a petty secret. The killer sweats, denies and loses their nerve. MAKE THE ARREST: Lock in who, with what and when on the three wheels of the tower clock. The killer hid the weapon where they claimed to be one hour later. You get two arrests per case. Miss both and the killer slips into the fog. WHAT'S INSIDE: - 24 handcrafted cases with rising difficulty - 12 suspects, each with their own habits, secrets and nerves - 10 kinds of physical evidence and 6 murder weapons - 3 stars per case: solve it, get it right first time, stay under the key budget - 6 pocket watches to unlock and 5 police ranks from Constable to Chief Inspector - An evidence board and notebook that track what you've found - Animated rooms: a swinging bell, steam in the cellar, candles, pigeons and drifting fog

• Sound and music. Bells toll as you open each case, the tower clock ticks as you turn the dial, and a music box plays while you investigate. Clues, confessions and arrests each get their own sound. • Haptics. Feel a tap when you find a clue, catch a lie or close a case. • Inspector's hints. Stuck on a case? Tap the lightbulb for a nudge toward your next step. Hints are free and cost no keys. • Safer exits. The back button closes the open window first and asks before you leave a case, so you keep your keys and clues. • Switches for sound, music and vibration on the main screen. • A new app icon and fresh artwork on our App Store page.
