Not at all what I expected
Potential downloaders: Don’t let the photos (screenshots) of the “game play” in the App Store fool you; upon opening this game for the first time, I was IMMENSELY disappointed. The description and the photos on the game’s profile in the App Store makes it look SO FUN! I was all hyped up to design my own clothes and run my own store! But when I began playing (and I use that word “playing” quite loosely), something was just… off. First of all, there’s little to no instruction on what to do and how to do it. Your first task is to “clean up the store” but that’s all the information you’re given. I just started walking around the store and realized there was random full trash bags scattered throughout. So I approach a bag, assuming this is the “trash” I’m supposed to remove. But upon approaching the bag, there’s no obvious button or control visible for me to interact with the bag. I walk around the bag and into the bag for a few seconds before realizing that, when standing in just the right place, a button with a hand appears. Once that’s visible I push it and that allows me to grab the bag. Ok cool. Now what? I know from other games like this one that there’s usually a trash can right in front of the store. So I walk outside, but no trash can. I walk a little further and see a dumpster on the side of the building with an arrow pointing at it. Ok cool, this is where I throw the trash. To “throw away” the trash, it’s the same deal: move around until you’re in just the right spot and a hand appears-this is how you throw the trash in. I’m beginning to realize that this might be the extent of the “controls” for this game… After disposing of the trash, I’m relocated to what appears to be a warehouse where I’m given a new command of “hang shirts on racks”. The shirts in question are all on a conveyor belt with an empty box at the end of the belt. There’s a button that looks like I should push it so I do, at which point the shirts move from the belt into the box. I use the ONE CONTROL to grab the box and then proceed to wander around aimlessly to figure out where exactly I’m at and where exactly I’m supposed to go. I finally realize that this warehouse is attached to the store via an interior door on the side of the building. Once I get in the store, I see a bunch of displays where clothes are obviously supposed to go, but I have no idea which one I’m supposed to put these boxed shirts onto. So I wander around THE ENTIRE STORE, walking all around each display, waiting for a friggin hand to appear so I can attempt to “put the shirts on the rack”, but that never happens. I never see any hand and I’m never given any additional details or instructions or ANYTHING. And there’s no way to “drop” or “put down” items (unless you actively see a “hand”), so I’m just stuck walking around the store, carrying this box, clueless as to how to progress in this daggum game. After spending far too much time than I should have trying to figure out what I was supposed to do, I finally decided to exit the game, delete it off my phone, and come here to leave a review that will hopefully serve as a warning to any other potential gamer that feels inclined to give this game a shot. Until the developers go in and fix, well, EVERYTHING, this game is NOT worth your time and DEFINITELY not worth the storage it will use up on your device when you download it!
