No m4b support

Everything seems to work except that m4b is not supported. I don’t really understand it as it calls itself an audiobook player.

Great app. But needs an update now

This by far the best audio book app I’ve come across. Been using it since the pandemic but lately it’s been very buggy. Force closes, freezes and won’t play some of my books. Developers please run a check and fix it. Thank you. Please issue an update

Doesn’t support chapters

What good is an audiobook player that doesn’t support chapters.? If I’d known that I’d never have downloaded it, much less paid for premium

Does not work with icloud

don’t waste your money

Has a lot of potential as an audiobook player and media manager

But it does not have chapter support with m4b files. Cannot see the chapters or skip by chapters. Entire audiobook is only one long “track”.

FAQ

What is CloudBeats?

CloudBeats is an application designed to play audiobooks, podcasts, lectures, and other audio files directly from various cloud storage services. It allows users to save device space by streaming content instead of downloading large files and offers features for managing and syncing listening progress across multiple devices.

What cloud services does CloudBeats support?

The app supports a wide range of cloud services including Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, Box, pCloud, Mediafire, and personal clouds that support WebDAV, such as ownCloud and Network-Attached Servers (NAS) from Synology, QNAP, and WD.

How much does CloudBeats cost?

CloudBeats offers a 1-year auto-renewing subscription for $4.99 per year. This subscription is for the optional Synchronization & Backup service, which keeps listening progress, playlists, and library data in sync across devices and can be used for backup and restore. Prices may vary by country.

Can I listen to audio files offline with CloudBeats?

Yes, you can download folders, files, or playlists onto your device for playback in offline mode without an internet connection. This allows you to enjoy your audio content even when you don't have access to the internet.

What are the key playback features?

The player offers flexible narration speed control from 0.5x to 3x, configurable seek buttons (3-60 seconds), multiple bookmarks per file with text notes, automatic resume of playback where you left off, and a sleep timer. It also supports embedded lyrics display and playback via Airplay and Bluetooth.
