CloudDrive2 1.0.16 highlights: • Core engine 1.0.15: downloads and playback are both noticeably faster, and a file being read from several places at once — a Blu-ray disc image, say — no longer stalls part-way through • Subtitles: fonts packed inside a video are repaired before use, so lines no longer collapse into one spot or go missing, and embedded ASS subtitles keep the typeface, styles and positions the file specifies • Picture subtitles keep their own colours on HDR video — white text is white, not cyan • Dolby Vision: Profile 8.4 from phone-shot video is signalled the way Apple asks for and no longer blows out; Profile 8.1 on Apple TV applies its scene-by-scene metadata for real; Profile 7 works on macOS as it does on Apple TV; dual-track Profile 7 titles compose their enhancement layer; Profile 7 FEL now supports L5 active-area metadata, so a widescreen title's letterbox information reaches the display's Dolby Vision processing intact; Profile 5 converts correctly on displays that cannot take Dolby Vision • Blu-ray discs: UHD menus draw their buttons, a disc keeps its resume point and asks before continuing, Home shows the disc's own pop-up over the film, the subtitle you pick is the one you get, and a feature starts sooner and recovers faster after seeking • Playback: lip sync corrected on films with many B-frames, content faster than the display refresh plays smoothly, MPEG-TS behind the wrong file extension plays, and in a single-file CUE album, moving the slider after changing track no longer drops you back into the first song — WAV files also report elapsed time correctly after a seek • Emby / Jellyfin: the library follows your app theme, the number of items per page is yours to set (50 up to unlimited, filling as you scroll), a title's other versions can be chosen, disc images behind .strm shortcuts play, external subtitles render, and AI-translated subtitles are written back • Files: video and audio files show how far you got in the browser, any file's menu can run a download speed test on that file, removing a cloud account removes it, and the folder disk-cache dialog is complete again • Image viewer: opening a picture leaves the screen at the system brightness instead of forcing its own level; a swipe on the left edge adjusts it, and that choice is remembered • iPhone and iPad: the app no longer waits on a full photo-library scan before it opens • Mac: Finder streams large files on demand, with per-file keep or remove; long file names wrap; player controls fit narrow windows • Apple TV: media info is no longer hidden at the end of a page • Vision Pro: Dolby Vision Profile 7 FEL now reaches the compositor, flat HDR films look more accurate, and VR video can be zoomed with a double-pinch to reset • Fixes for four crashes reported during the 1.0.16 beta, plus stability and performance work throughout
