The vocab practice is great, and the example sentences are all technically correct - but they read like weird AI interpretations. I really liked the structure and style of the app, but (my perceived) the lack of human oversight to just proofread was a bit disappointing.
Best Language study app
I’ve been using Clozemaster for two years for Croatian.
I recommend it to anyone learning a language.
It is incredibly customizable and allows reading, spelling, listening and speaking drills. All sentences have full grammar breakdowns.
Croatian is a niche language and has more that 10,000 sentences in progressively difficult groupings. The more popular languages seem to have MUCH more than that.
I cannot stress enough how good this app is for the serious learner.
The only advice is I don’t think it is suitable for brand new beginners.

Bad Update has Made Everything Harder to do
After using the app and loving it for a year and a half, it’s suddenly incredibly difficult to control what I’m reviewing/learning. I hate the idea of “play” being some arbitrary thing the app decides for me- just let me control how many new words and reviews I do!
The current version of the app allows you to set how many new words and reviews you want, and then when you hit Play, it doesn’t respect any of that. I put in that i want to review 50 sentences and learn 50 new ones, and that rounds should be 50 sentences long, then I hit Play, and the app gives me 3 sentences!? It went from 5/5 to 2/5 because the devs are fixing stuff that isn’t broken.
It bothers me that I pay a yearly premium subscription and the devs do stupid changes like this that dramatically change my experience. This is not what I paid for.

Потрясающе. Нашла приложение из-за болгарского языка, теперь здесь буду учить и немецкий вместо медленного в прогрессе и слишком стимулирующего анимациями Duolingo. Очень нравится интерфейс!
More sentences per round!
I feel like 30 sentences per day on the free version is too little. Maybe try changing it to 60 or 45? I feel like that would give people a better feel for the app. Also, i wish the lifetime subscription was an option again :/
