Very useful for a dire time in my life
When we lost a loved one unexpectedly, this app helped us navigate our way. Can’t recommend enough
Life Saver When Life Was Lost
I signed up for this app at the recommendation of my friend.
I never knew I needed all these things for when my loved one passed.
But without it I wouldn't even know where to start. And wow... The last thing you want to think about when you're grieving is how these errands or logistics.
Please... Take my word for it... Sign up BEFORE you need it. For you. For your loved ones. Especially for those you or others leave behind.
It's the kindest thing you can do. The final gift before you or others go.
I cannot recommend it enough.

The app I wish we had when my brother died.
Hello, I’m the co founder of Clozure.
When my brother Mike was killed in a car accident, my family had no idea where to start. We had to make funeral decisions quickly, without knowing how to compare options or costs. We had to deal with his estate. We had to figure out how to honor his memory. He did not have a will or leave instructions, and in moments like that, you realize how little anyone really knows when it matters most. You may know someone deeply, but when they are gone, you suddenly do not know where anything is, and everyone has strong opinions about what they would have wanted.
Not having the right information, or a guide for how to use it, can completely derail the grieving process. Instead of grieving with intention, families get pulled into urgent tasks, disagreements, expenses, and decisions, all with very little support. Then the funeral ends, everyone goes back to their lives, and the person left managing the aftermath is often overwhelmed and alone.
I have seen firsthand how damaging that can be. I would not wish that pain on anyone. That is why I helped create Clozure, the app I wish my family had during the darkest time in our lives.
Our mission is to take the misery out of death. We do that by making it easier and more approachable to make important decisions now, so your loved ones are not left trying to piece everything together later. Our concierge team is trained in funeral planning, estate related issues, sensitive notifications, and complicated family dynamics. We are here to help families navigate one of the hardest moments of their lives with more clarity, support, and care.
From the beginning, I felt strongly that our free version had to offer real value. We also built in identity verification to create trust and reduce abuse. We do not charge for many features that similar apps put behind a paywall. Our hope is to help change the conversation around death and dying and reduce the stigma that keeps so many people from making a plan in the first place.
Our paid memberships offer the fullest experience, and I hope you will consider one if it is within reach. But if it is not, I still want you to know that the free version can provide meaningful value and support to the people you love.
Our promise is simple. We are your advocates. We are not here to serve insurance companies, funeral corporations, or anyone else. We will never sell your personal data and employ industry standard encryption for the sensitive data you provide for your Legacy Contacts. We take your trust and security seriously and personally.
This app will keep getting better, and we are already building what comes next. If you have suggestions, complaints, or shower thoughts, we would genuinely love to hear them. You can reach our team at getclozure.com.
