The match-day check-in desk A tournament's front door is now a screen of its own. Open the Check-in tab, search the queue by name or shirt number, filter by club or category, and check players in as they arrive — with a pass for each one showing their photo, club, shirt number and, where it matters, their age at kick-off against the bracket they are playing in. It is open to the host's board and to anyone holding the Check-in desk grant, which gives a volunteer the desk and nothing else — no match tools, no admin. Every player checks in. Age is attested only where the team sheet is actually age-gated; on an open category it is offered and optional, so nobody is asked for a date of birth a competition does not need. Scan a licence instead of typing a date On the pass, "Scan the licence barcode" reads the barcode on the back of a driver licence or ID card and fills in the date of birth and the legal name, with the age at kick-off and the verdict updating as it lands. The desk still checks the face against the card — the scan removes the typing, not the judgement. The card is checked as well as read. The printed name is compared with the roster name, and a mismatch leaves the attestation switched off with both names shown, so the desk decides with the discrepancy in front of them. The barcode itself gets a set of consistency checks — the issuing state against the code's own header, the licence number against that state's format, the dates against each other and against today, the term against what the state issues — and anything that fails is shown as a warning with the attestation left off, alongside what the front of the card should say. What leaves the phone is only what an age check needs: the date of birth, the expiry, the printed name, the issuing state, the document type and the last four digits of the number. The address, sex, height, eye colour and full licence number are discarded on the device and never sent. Also at the desk • Add or retake a player's photo from the pass • A walk-up guest who gives an email is sent their account claim link and checked in as one action • Hosts can start a new round — everyone, one category or one club — for day two or the knockouts • The club desk no longer asks clubs to verify their own players: identity is checked at the desk on the day, and a roster row simply says what the desk did — checked in, age attested, or declined Matchdays before kickoff times Schedule a matchday as a date alone, when you know the day but not the times. Fixtures scheduled that way read "Time TBD" everywhere they appear — lists, cards, match detail, the bracket, the referee list and the dashboard — instead of a midnight placeholder, and editing one starts from a sensible evening kickoff rather than 12:00 AM. For hosts • Invite a club representative straight from the Registrations ledger, with the row saying whether one has been invited yet, and a resend that opens on whoever it went to last • Waiver resends open on the address the waiver was actually sent to • Players waiting on approval now appear on the host's Registrations tab, not only the club's • "Add ClubVerse player" moves into Manage Roster's Add Players hub, beside adding from the club and adding by name • Generate Fixtures offers circle pairing as well as top seeds first • Unscheduled fixtures list group games before knockout ties instead of interleaving them by match number • Edit player, Invite rep and Send waiver share one layout, rather than three different eras of one screen
