About

Cluckium is the engineering geometry calculator built for the field. Whether you're sizing a manhole cover, calculating tank capacity, or verifying whether a lid can fall through its own opening, Cluckium delivers precise, instant results in a purpose-built dark neon interface designed for professionals who need answers fast. Choose from a comprehensive catalog of over 20 plane figures and 3D solids — circles, annuli, ellipses, sectors, segments, cylinders, cones, spheres, hemispheres, capsule tanks, cuboids, and more. Switch between metric and imperial at a tap, select your input mode (radius, diameter, circumference, or area for a circle — whichever measurement you already have on hand), and get every result you need: area, volume, surface area, perimeter, diagonal, slant height, and partial-fill volumes for tanks held vertical or horizontal. The Weight screen solves forward from dimensions to mass, or in reverse from a target weight back to any missing dimension, across nine common engineering materials including cast iron, steel, aluminium, brass, copper, and concrete. Why can't a circular manhole cover fall through its own hole? Cluckium answers this with its unique Fall-Through Solver. Select a lid shape — circle, Reuleaux triangle, Reuleaux pentagon, Reuleaux heptagon, square, rectangle, ellipse, or regular polygon — enter the dimensions, and receive an instant verdict: Safe — stays put, or Falls in, complete with minimum width, maximum width, critical ratio, and a clear geometric explanation. A Field Check mode lets you compare real cover and real opening sizes to confirm seating clearance and ledge overlap on site. The Constant-Width Gallery explores Barbier's theorem and the famous curves behind the UK 50p coin. Save any calculation or fall-through verdict to your Logbook, attach a site photo, add a title and notes, then export a polished rendered geometry card straight to your Camera Roll for inspection reports or project records. The Reference tab puts EN 124 load classes (A15 through F900), a complete formula sheet for every shape, and a 22-term engineering glossary at your fingertips — all fully offline, no account required.
