Awful replacement for the previous app
This app constantly crashes and locks up when scanning. Add the that you have to hold it impossibly still for over five seconds to get it to scan. It’s very time consuming and doesn’t work well when needed.
Easy peasy to use thank you
Great app! Sooo much easier than the previous Barry. I can quickly add books to my library with some basic info to start me off. Quick connection to the online library and doesn’t drop out. Thank you CLZ team, I love this!
Excellent development
This new app is a beautifully integrated development for the CLZ products. I use it as I move my extensive CD classical collection onto Music Connect. It is simple to use and very fast on my 14 Pro iOS 16.4 iPhone. Thoroughly recommended. Much easier than my old handheld BC Scanner.
Saving Time
This app is an easy ‘bolt-on’ to an already excellent program. Allowing you to add either a vinyl or CD album in a matter of seconds, with the correct and accurate information. I would not hesitate to recommend it!
Works quickly and positively
Sad to see the retirement of the CLZ Barry scanner but the new CLZ Scanner works fast and positively. I’m using the scanner with the Book Collector V23.1 for Windows.

Hats off to the creative team at CLZ for your production of the CLZ Scanner software. I entered a half dozen new titles into Movie Connect using the free scanner app. It operates just as you described in your introductory email. Adding new films will be a joy from now on. Making A Collectorz Life Easier
I have an extensive music collection and finally getting around to cataloging it. When you have a stack of CDs and LPs (with barcodes) it becomes tiresome to type in barcodes. I can’t tell you how many times I typed the barcode wrong and had to do it again. Anyway, the scanner makes it easier, because you can do multiple items and it goes right to your collection. Instead of taking hours, now minutes! Easy setup instructions, easy to use and a time saver. A great add-on to the CLZ family.

New scanner app
I tried the new scanner app and it works beautifully. I had some problems at first because of my own mistakes but I received excellent help from Alwin Hoogerdijk. The entire team is very responsive to any problems or questions I have.
Very efficient
Took a while to follow instructions so I deleted the Barry app from my phone and downloaded the CLZ Scanner. Works fine now.
