Archers Setup is the digital bow passport for archers. It records how your bow is set up, which arrows you shoot, which sight marks you have shot in – and above all what you changed and what the change actually did.
It answers two questions every archer eventually asks:
What is currently set on my bow? And what have I changed since?
YOUR BOW, FULLY DOCUMENTED
Riser, limbs, draw weight, draw length, brace height, tiller, nocking point, plunger, string and stabilization – all in one place. Depending on the bow type the app shows only the sections relevant to you: recurve, compound, barebow or traditional.
The tiller difference is calculated for you. The string is its own item with make and install dates, so later you know whether it is bad or just old.
SIGHT MARKS WITH INTERMEDIATE VALUES
Every mark has elevation, windage and extension – with detents or a free scale. Enter only what you actually shot in. Everything in between is calculated linearly and clearly marked: shot-in values green, calculated values orange. A shot-in value is never silently overwritten.
For field and 3D, type any distance and get the sight value together with the marks it was derived from.
COMPARING SETUPS
Two versions of the same bow or two entirely different setups side by side, differences highlighted. You see at a glance what changed between two states – or bring a second bow up to the state of the first.
A STRING YOU CAN REBUILD
Material, strands, twists, length and start of the center serving, loops and end servings. Enough to serve the next string identically instead of searching again on a tuned bow.
SETUP VERSIONS INSTEAD OF OVERWRITING
New string, different draw weight? Duplicate the setup. A new version is created with all values while the previous state stays untouched. Months later you can still look up what was set back then.
CHANGE LOG WITH RESULTS
Record every change with old value, new value and reason. Evaluate it later: improvement, deterioration or no noticeable change. The app reminds you when a change is older than two weeks and still not evaluated.
GUIDED TUNING
Paper tune, bare shaft, walk-back and French tuning – explained step by step with goal, procedure, observation, result and photo. Every tuning is stored as a project and stays traceable.
ARROWS WITH A HISTORY
Arrow sets with spine, length, point weight and FOC. Individual arrows with number and status: active, conspicuous, damaged, retired. Document observations with date, distance, group pattern, photo and consequence – what looked like coincidence becomes evidence.
TOOLS
Six calculators: FOC, arrow weight with the ratio to draw weight, actual draw weight at your draw length, spine estimate, brace height via twists, and units.
A BOW PASSPORT TO TAKE ALONG
All technical data compact on one page, exportable as PDF. Ideal for your case, for your coach, or for the day a limb breaks two days before a tournament.
COACH AREA
Switch your role to coach and the coach area sits right at the top of the dashboard: manage athletes, view their setups, keep dated notes and compare two archers. Received data is read only – the athlete maintains it. All bow passports can be exported as one PDF, and everything stored about a person can be exported or deleted completely at any time.
PART OF THE CM APP FAMILY
Archers Setup uses the same exchange format as CM Inner Archer, CM Archers Coach and BSB Score. A shared athlete identifier links setup, score and video analysis. Sharing happens via AirDrop, mail or messages – no server involved.
