Cute premise, not balanced well.

nevermind the second chapter kinda changes this completely.

——

The gameplay is not engaging at all, which is theoretically quite easy for an incremental game. An “idle” incremental just means most of your earnings happen when the app is closed. Good idle games still have an engaging gameplay loop while the app is open.

This game, instead, intends for you to open, click one button, close—at least that’s what I have found past the career milestone. I am not yet to chapter 2, but reviews make it sound like this problem will only exacerbate.

Something I have noticed about this game versus enjoyable incremental games is that the tap function does not actually give any reward or gain after the first 90 seconds of gameplay. You read that right. It’ll never be used again past the first few moments, except to tap once to get the reset going.

I really think this game is cute, it’s witty. I would like to see it rebalanced and given a meaningful purpose to tapping/clicking. More complicated or optional buffs usually make these games more enjoyable too (see grimoire, dodecadragons)

Glitches can make game unplayable

Glitch where if you reset your entire progress but didn’t change the difficulty on levels the level will start out normal you’ll return and the difficulty is applied and you get hard locked from progressing. Please fix I love this game but this oversight of a bug is just dumbfounded. I just wanted to play it all over again and now I’m stuck to repeating level 1 till you fix this in however many months. Also add a bug report feature in the future so I don’t have to leave reviews

An idle game

This idle game is torture. It’s pure agony in functionality. The build up to automation, in what I’m assuming is later chapters after playing for years, is excruciating.

Yet there it is, I have been playing for years. Not many idle games get that from me, there’s only been Antimatter Dimensions and the original Cookie Clicker.

By proxy, and the gratification of figuring out the systems in each chapter, Cmd C has earned its review and rating and was long overdue.

Game is totally messed up for blind people.

Hello, please fix the issue where the stupid game scrolls you to the top every time you scroll past the settings button. I've been waiting for the last 2 updates for this to be fixed. I did purchase the overclock thing. If this is something that helps sighted people then please make an option to turn it off.

Massive lack of effort put into this

Progress is very slow for some reason on chapter 2. The point of an idle/incremental is to well make progress and have number go up quicker than last prestige. When you are dealing with e’s and the insane scaling cost of upgrades means I make almost no progress when I prestige (lose all progress and start again). Also random hidden upgrades. When I leveled up a t3 line production to 25 it made t1 get a 500x boost. But when I upgrade t1 to 50 or t2 to 25 nothing happens or t1 for that matter. I just randomly got a upgrade with no way to tell if I’m close to another one or if there is even another one or when I might get it.

Why waste my time with trash made with no love when I can play idle/incremental where people actually put in effort and care.

NOPE

Within minutes of starting the game it told me to visit a website containing a security scam.

Or like grandma’s homemade noodles

I’ve played this game since it released and just can stop. I take long breaks, but anytime I redownload it I’m right back at it, grinding away. Let’s face it - iOS is a desert for decent idle/incremental games that aren’t jamming $100 packs on top of ads down your throat. This game is like Seinfeld, or MASH, or Star Trek TNG, back when cable and late-night reruns were a thing, if you can’t find anything else to do there’s always cmd-c.

I’m Glad the Penalty Was Removed

I’ve been enjoying this game for a couple of years now and appreciate all of the work the dev has put in as well as his responses to feedback on Reddit. Most recently, I’m glad he listened to feedback and removed the Completion Penalty that was recently added.

Bad update

Limits how much you can play the game and took away what made it unique

Better Than Before

So I previously reviewed the game, back when there was only a couple of chapters available. There have been more added since then, and at times it seems like the balance is too far off, but that's part of what makes it challenging. I previously had it a 3 due to the ease in advancing to the end, but it's much better now.

Game is broken

Tried to pick back up the game and it loads to a blank white screen. Has for last few patches so yeah one star

Carpal Tunnel Sim

Honestly this is a pretty good idle game and I play a lot of these types of games. My only issue is that the boost mechanic is tapping as opposed to holding. This game really requires active time to progress in any realistic time frame, and the constant tapping has literally gotten to the point of pain in my right hand.

Obviously I set the game down when it causes pain, but why does the app need to cause pain at all? Please update the system to allow press and hold as opposed to hyper tapping.

Amazing!

You have such a great game, its fun and interesting but the best part is the editor where you make your own levels. I hope to see more!

Chapter 6 seems rushed

So chapter 6, has no storyline like all the other chapters and so far there’s no (I)nformation buttons to explain what’s going on. This makes Paul Pelosi sad which then makes him want to drink more. It’s a vicious cycle.

Please continue making games

both this game and perceptron are almost perfect i love the simple but also complex progression and i love seeing when you’ve added a new chapter to this game. please update perceptron again too coz i’ve run out of upgrades :)

Nice game. 1 request.

Chapter 5, please add a pop box that says: Are you sure?

When resetting Feature, it’s to easy to accidentally reset that one and it seems to be a costly mistake if done when it’s not quite time. Otherwise I’ve been enjoying this since release and think I’ll explore making some levels.

Just lost 3 weeks of progress

Started chapter 5 3 weeks ago when update was released. Was cruising along nicely, just unlocked generator, generator, generators for the 2nd time after resetting Feature and realizing it wasn’t doing much of anything for me yet. So after 2nd unlocking I exited app for about 15 minutes, when I returned everything was completely reset, like it was when I first downloaded chapter 5 update 3 weeks ago. Disappointing to say the least.

Fun

but a bit slow at times.

Been playing since release. Please add

Please add leaderboards! You have them in Perceptron, why not here? Pretty sure I’d be top 3. Great game!

Great game, updates are wack

Love the game but I have a couple issues with recent updates:

1. The new balancing on Chapter 4 makes it feel like you hit several road blocks that manual gameplay barely seems to speed up if at all

2. The new visual update has some nice features like moving buy buttons away from where you are tapping, but now I can’t know the price of most generators. Knowing that the next upgrade is at 5e10 is necessary for me to make informed gameplay and buying decisions
