this app is literally passing she hundreds of dollars if they forget to submit a Covid test form yet vaccinated people are spreading corona just like unvaccinated. CMU delete this communist app

Guy who gave 5 Stars

I’m sure since you are so enthusiastic about the Chinese government being a “collectivist society”, you should just go there?

I’m sure they would love to track you, this app is a reminder that people are willing to do anything to go back to normal even if it means dispensing with their common sense. Thanks again CMU, one step closer.

Pointless and dumb

Workers at cmu will ask if u did the screening on this app instead of just asking u the two bs questions the app asks like a normal human being. Obviously people are gonna lie anyways though.

Looks like something from 2012

You’d think with how much money CMU takes from its students, they could design a better app

App Review

Needs more functions and not just symptom based.

Ineffective

You can easily just lie making campus no safer than not having it

Underwhelming

This is not a very comprehensive screening tool, basically at asks do you have symptoms of covid. And it also has a button that links u to the cmu site

yikes

wish we were online and acknowledged that if we have to jump through all these hoops to come back it’s probably not safe 🤪

Great Idea

I highly appreciate that the university is doing this. South Korea, Japan, and China also did this (but a bit more extreme as it had location tracking and other things), and it is one of the reasons they had minimal damage from COVID and were able to drastically reduce numbers quickly. I know people are upset because they can’t comprehend and don’t understand the basic idea of collectivistic society and inconveniencing yourself slightly to help everyone and improve society, but they’ll get over it. As someone said in a one star review, “it’s just two buttons”. Easy peasy! I hope this will help this fall semester.

Tracking

Just another way for people and places to keep track of us. Easy to use though

Self Screening App

I can appreciate CMU for designing this self screening app for students, faculty and staff. It’s simple and easy for any one to use. I also love the fact that it takes you to the main website for more information about COVID-19. It serves as a nice bookmark!
