Scrap this app
I wanted the dealer to install a MinnKota on board charger but he insisted on this system. It’s probably the worst decision I made to let them install this product. I’m changing it this week. Too many issues to deal with.

This is the single-most frustrating app that I’ve ever used. I finally returned the power pole Charge system as it too caused me nothing but problems and killed two batteries.
Problematic
App is super glitchy and costs more time than it’s worth.
Firmware
Cannot connect to server. YouTube versions state that there’s a setting that you can go in and put all your battery information in. No such settings to allow that. Seems like this has been ongoing for a year or more.
Could be great
Has a lot of glitches. Often won’t connect even after pushing the button to reset. Eventually has always connected but it could be up to 15 minutes. It has trouble keeping batteries balanced. You will have to charge trolling motor batteries individually sometimes, more often when when running 3 for 36volt. 24 volt is slightly better. I have both setups in two boats. It will stop charging and batteries are green meaning fully charged but sometimes batteries aren’t fully charged or balanced. My app won’t show charge direction arrows…. Bit frustrating at times for a premium system. Hope they can improve it.

Would not pair with my phone, and doesn’t show why.

Does not connect consistently. Also instructions on the install on a new PP charge are poor. Bad on JL Marine

There’s a lot of negative reviews! First off why do you need the app for powerpoles? Dash and foot petals is all you need!
When connecting make your BlueTooth is on and also on for app and cellular mode is on with a full battery. If your powerpole Motors are under a hatch, open the hatch and find a place with great cellar Reception? If your using WiFi then not sure what your doing wrong.
Hold down power pole buttons for 3 or 4 seconds or until they are beeping then start looking to pair them both. You need to Unpair them from your Bluetooth concle switch or your Bluetooth deck foot petals if your phone can’t find them.
Useing it for power pole Charge is the main reason for having the app! To Transfer battery power from 1 battery to another battery or charging on the Run or Emergency start.
All Your head unit displays, probably have all this already on it.

App does not work with micro anchor
I just bought a new micro anchor. It is the new v2 version of the micro anchor. This app will not work with a brand new unit.
Not worth having!
Nothing reads right in the app for the charge. Great for the poles but don’t need a app for them, must have a app for the charge. Removing it from my boat!
Was good, then stopped working.
App randomly stopped working after 3 years. No way to update the app or re-add power pole connection. Very frustrating.
PP Charge
Must make blue tooth connectivity much better! This is the most frustrating issue with PP Charge all together.
Can’t even get it to connect to my poles
Get not compatible error message when I try. These poles are literally a year old. I have 2. Won’t connect to either.
