Can’t turn sound off
The sound on the app will not turn off & plays a full volume. Horrible feature, fix this immediately
Needs an update for ios17
This was my go to app for viewing my swing but no longer works after I updated my phone to ios17. It crashes scrolling down the open menu everytime. App is desperate need of an update if anybody is home.
Suspiciously needs internet to launch...
Wont launch on ipad with ios16 without an internet connection...on top of having access to all your photos/videos... that's super shady. Nothing in this app should need internet access. Beware.

Max volume sound
Was ok with ads and UI since free but am uninstalling since they changed it so that volume is uncontrollably on max and through phone speaker when playing videos now. Not usable.

I’ve been a CMV user for over a decade. Maybe not for all devices but it still works on my iPhone X
And I love the video-editing features on Pro
Can blame the dev for Apple’s changes. But we wish the software team could squeeze in one more update before retiring :)

Good enough?
Has the controls that I want, but volume controls have no effect on sound coming from the app. With my phone on silent mode and volume all the way down, audio from recordings still plays.
UI is very dated, and some UI elements overlap with each other. Kind of unpolished.
Frame by frame playback works well with slow motion clips. Zoom function works well. Video markup features work well. If I could mute audio, 4 stars. If UI was better, 5.

Not working from existing clips for me
They had a great Windows program… but now, not competitive
CMV video used to have a great Windows version/program where you could use 3 screens in the program. This allowed the coach/analyzer to put up a ‘Before’ video (say, on the Left) a video of a person/pro with good technique in the middle, then the person’s ‘After’ technique on the Right. So it was easy to show the student how much improvement they had made/were making. But CMVs program in the ‘Side-by-side’ analysis arena is not even close. CoachesEye seems to be the best program for the time being in this arena. But I’m rooting for CMV.

Great program but would be good if when on dual video if you had sync bars to manually move them into positions
Doesn’t work anymore
I have had this app for years and it worked fine until recently when I opened up the app and when I try to select an option, it doesn’t do anything. It’ll work if I delete the app and reinstall it, but it only works until I close the app out and then I have the same problem again when I try to open it again. I used to love this app, but not anymore.
