I love the CNN Weather app! It has a really nice, clean design that’s super easy to use. The forecasting feels accurate (at least in theory — it’s been spot on for my area lately), and everything loads quickly with great visuals and straightforward info.
I’m not even a big fan of the CNN network overall, but I have to give credit where it’s due — you guys nailed the weather app. The CNN Weather team is great and clearly knows what they’re doing. It’s become my go-to app for checking conditions and forecasts.
My only real wish is that you’d release a dedicated iPad app (or at least better optimize it for the bigger screen). That would make it perfect.
Overall, it’s a fantastic app. Highly recommend! Keep up the great work.

Almost Perfect
Great app. But could use a couple improvements. When you go into the detailed forecast, it shows you hour by hour for the next two days. Would be nice to have an option to view the full day and night like the rest of the week. Also in detailed mode, would be helpful to see weather icons along the top, so you don’t have to tap into each day to see what the weather will be.

Not good on iPad
I can’t put this app on my phone, because I have an Android phone and the app is IOS-only. The display of information on my iPad is useless, the window on my screen is too small and doesn’t fill the full screen (why make the display look like a phone screen, it’s not a phone). And it’s not clear how to navigate for information.

Prettiest
I use several weather apps. This is definitely the most attractive weather app but falls short with a shortage of detailed information and data. Great app for a quick glance of current weather.

This is a fantastic addition to my iPhone and the way critical weather information is presented in such a clean and informative way is great! I think the app could benefit from iOS Home Screen widgets, for at-a-glance use.

Crashes immediately. I was in the Test Flight group and had the same issue.

Accurate so far
I really wish there was a home and lockscreen widget for the weather to be able to quickly check the weather. Other than that i love it! I get notified on time and all

App is for tracking you
I was excited to try the new CNN Weather app. I have all of my apps set to ‘share location only when using’ because I don’t want to be tracked all the time. The CNN Weather App has pop ups on the iPhone asking me to change the ‘location sharing to always’. Even when I am not using the app I get popups asking me to change location data. Every two hours my iPhone will stop working until I answer either keep sharing settings as is or allow sharing all the time. I had to delete the app just to use my iPhone.
