Radar issue
Seems that the radar visual is not stable. It annoyingly moves around and does not appear clean and crisp like the previous versions. I will be looking to a different app unless and until this improves. Two steps backward in quality.
Bad change
Why did you change a perfectly good app? The screen for the live radar was better before. To much stuff at the bottom now. I wish I didn’t update it.

5 Second Delay
I am getting rid of this app and moving onto another. When you click on the app, there is a 5 second delay due to a message they want you to see that says “speeding saves lives”. No kidding! I just want to see the weather. I want the app to open with no delays. On to a new local app. See ya! 👋
No dew point?
What happened to the dew point? This app used to provide the current dew point, which is most useful in warmer weather. Now it’s gone. It would be great to bring it back and expand to include a future dew point forecast.

CNY weather app review
I live in Trumansburg, so a lot of time at the Syracuse center. Weather reports are off for me. The human weather reporting often ignores the finger lakes. It is clearly focused on Syracuse and North.. I use the app for its excellent radar which goes into the future.

Dumb
For some reason the map alerts (colored image over-display for storms) keeps automatically coming back. I keep turning it off and every time I go back to see the radar, it’s back on. Very frustrating.
Flashing Ads

Turn off the color blocks on counties
You cannot see the radar with the color blocked areas that suddenly appeared. There is no way to turn them off.
Terrible
The new animated radar is so bad. It goes slow and way into the future. If you’re outside and trying to keep a close eye on the rain forget it. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
