Bus ride
The driver that I had on 6/23/2025 around 5pm, I can’t remember his name, he had a lot cool tattoos. He was very professional and helpful, he showed me how to download app and showed me how to see where the buses were. He had awesome customer service skills. Thanks so much.
Poor system as a tourist cannot figure it out
Sadly my review is the same as the one 4yrs ago - app is useless. Normally use bus when we travel but 3 days in & cannot figure this out and no local can help- no one here uses the bus as it is “too slow, too confusing or not working well enough to be useful “ that’s what the locals tell me
Times
The times are way off and they need to be properly adjusted. I go from loris to Conway and the 7 bus from Conway arrives at 6:45am I was waiting and checked the app as the bus pulled up and it told me the bus wouldn’t be there for 62 minutes Smfh.
Application does not work
I use an iPhone on this application. It’s not up to date, does not show bus routes or schedules. As well, it does not show me closest stops. This seems to be a small city transit system & it shouldn’t be difficult to provide accuracy on so few bus routes.
Future Upgrade
Upgrade is needed for 2020 and beyond
Bus number
It was much better when the bus number was included.
Embarrassment
This app has such a jarring user experience.
When bus routes change you get a tiny scrolling message that’s difficult to read. Then the bus markers themselves just trail off in whatever their temporary route is while not keeping the route line up to date.
The app as a whole appears to be a cheap web app and feels completely slow and not native at all. On top of that it is NOT optimized for anything newer than probably an iPhone 6/7. As on my iPhone X I have obnoxious black bars at the top and bottom.
If you move the view, the markers slowly move into place afterwards. Really?? This is so comical how the markers can’t seem to keep up with the rest of the map.
I wish the city of Myrtle Beach would invest in a decent transit tracking platform like TransLoc. I used the Rider app when I went to Ocean City, MD and had none of these problems.
I can’t imagine how upset visitors will be when they don’t see the tiny scrolling message about a route change, hop on the “entertainment route” and end up somewhere in Conway.
Myrtle deserves better.
