Cockpit Log uses your iPhone's GPS, barometer, and motion sensors to record data like altitude, ground speed, and G-force from takeoff to landing. It captures one data sample per second.
What information is captured after landing?
After landing, Cockpit Log provides measured takeoff and touchdown times, time airborne, peak altitude, speed, G-force, your GPS track on a map, landing runway identification, and arrival airport stats including carbon footprint.
Can I use Cockpit Log without an internet connection?
Yes, Cockpit Log offers offline map packs as part of its BUSINESS subscription, allowing you to follow your route without internet access while in the air.
How is my flight data stored and protected?
Your raw GPS coordinates remain on your device and in your iCloud, never sent to their servers. Only summaries are backed up, and you can delete your data or account at any time.
