One of the greatest apps to help you through school. I use it for all my college courses. Even the ones I can pass in my sleep. Never miss a thing and the onboard assistant parses through the recording and gives decent notes. Plus you can input a YouTube or web link and get recipes and just the important info instead of wasting your time.

Privacy and data hosting
We have attempted many times to contact Coconote to ask further questions on who hosts the data. As we live in New Zealand we may have different rules and regulations about privacy. We also got caught in the 7 day trial and as we are a school we got billed for the full year without knowing until returning from mid term break. We need an answer an proper evaluation to have the confidence to use this for school meetings. Very disappointing that no one has answered us.

It's worth it for students and maybe people early in careers
Honestly didn't think this was going to be actually good but it helps me take a recording of a lecture or just general group meetings and transform it into a bunch of different ways to consume that information which I otherwise may not be inclined to care about. Oddly enough I find a podcast thing to be really interesting, it makes it easier to absorb information when it seems like people are talking about it around you and the quizzes are good as are the summaries. Also it's very quick for what they're actually doing.

Too soon to tell….
I don’t like pressured reviews when I haven’t had the chance to even really use the product at all yet. Again, I’ve barely got a chance to use it before the survey popped-up. I like being able to upload documents and get an idea of a long pdf or epub. I also suggested there be a way to help people with ADHD to be able to financially access this app.

This is super helpful to share with my tutoring students and their parents regarding what happened during our lessons. I particularly like the Podcasts because that allows something easy for them to listen to, as well as helps me review before I go back for the next day, lol!
I organize each recording into a files for students. Then at the end of the month I use the chat to help me create a monthly report.
Coconote has been a huge life changer for me in regard to my work’s accuracy and productivity, so thank you. I highly recommend this for consensual notetaking in class.

App cannot transcribe a video
I can’t input a video from my gallery and have a transcribed so it sucks Donkey balls.
App is bad
So if you have any lecture that’s over an hour and your college student this app will be useless to you. This app doesn’t register about 45% of my lecture by that I mean it’ll say the recording is 65-70 minutes when it’s probably 130 minutes and the audio keep playing after the 65 minute mark, but good luck, pausing or fast fowarding or skipping after you pass whatever amount that the app thinks thinks how long it was and also the AI note generator, which is the literal point of this app will only write the notes on the 60 minutes and not the entire other half. App sucks!

Cancelled free trial, now 6 months later charged $100!
First off, this app does not work as advertised, so I cancelled before the end of the free trial. I was charged, told it was actually a shorter trial than advertised (was in the fine print but said 7 days on the banner 😡. Now 6 months later I was charged $100 out of the blue. I’m not showing any active subscription and NEITHER of my emails or my Apple ID work, so I know I don’t have an account.

Not just a note taker, you can actually talk to your notes. I get it to re explain anything I didn’t understand or to remind me of homework set.
It’s good but..
I’m currently on the free trial, and I absolutely love it. It’s been incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted all my recording notes about 15ish, and I wish there was a way to recover them. I’m not sure how to do it now, i wish there was a 30-day trial period to get them back.
