Great Concept, Needs a lot of work

I really love the idea of this app and the resistance from algorithmic music selection, which is why I’ll keep this app. It has a huge library, and the design is clean. But there are a lot of issues that are pretty important:

• the liked songs, which I’ve always primarily used for music listening, has a cap for how many songs can be saved. There is nothing telling you when you reach that limit and if you keep saving songs it just removes the oldest ones without any indication.

• you cannot search within playlists. My original playlist was 6000+ songs, so searching is really useful when I want to find a specific song

• no lyrics, not the most important thing but a lot of people like it

•cannot skip or go back in a song unless you are specifically in the app. Maybe this is just iOS but if I’m on my lock screen or the dropdown menu, I can’t adjust where I am in the song

• no good way to send feedback or see what’s being prioritized or worked on at all. The social media is barely updated. When I emailed about an issue I also mentioned being a pilot tester to provide app feedback and the response completely ignored that part. The issue I was having was fixed, but the whole message could have been acknowledged….

• when I save songs to the playlist they don’t save in order. I saved a few albums from a couple artists (specifically by artist in chronological order) and they saved out of order, with the artists albums mixed together. Then today, weeks later, I saved some other songs and they also got randomly mixed in with previously saved songs/albums instead of being at the top of the playlist

• the third party site used to transfer playlists to CodaMusic does not work. It just makes you log in to the services over and over again

worst

when i first downloaded this app i really liked it, but when i try to my play music again it said i have to pay. like da hell

Peak discovery!

The app is great overall, and the emphasis on true human curation is next level – discovered a ton of new music! The content from the various genre communities, coupled with the social aspect creates an exceptionally immersive experience. Also really love the emphasis on supporting artists, highly recommended!

What am I missing?

I am excited to give this service a try, but setup has been super un-user-friendly. When creating my account, I was forced to select genres and artists I like (usually there's a way to skip that). On the "rate the artists you like" page, since there was no way to skip it, I went to the trouble of finding and rating artists, waiting for the app to decide I had rated enough to move on with setup, but the "I'm done rating artists button" remained greyed out after every artist I rated. Finally I just manically tapped the button and got it to activate, only to find that none of the artists I had rated were saved - my profile just listed 3 "Artists I love", one of which I'd given one star and the other two I hadn't rated at all. Super frustrating waste of time!!! There is also no Help or Support link within the app. Finally, I'm bummed that there is no web app to be able to stream from my computer, which is how I prefer to listen when I'm not on the go. We'll see how I feel after my free trial is over, but as of now I'm not impressed, especially given that the monthly subscription fee for a multi-user account is the same as Spotify. Not sure what I'm missing with this app getting such stellar ratings...!

Great app, just need additional features

The app is great, however when you download songs for offline play, we don’t have the option to search for songs in the offline playlist. Please add it. Thanks :)
