Use it on Every Code

I use this app to record every code in the field. The data recording and export is flawless and comes in handy for sharing with other crew members for report writing.

Need a refund

The main buttons (start CPR, shock, epi) do nothing when you press on them. I heard great things about this app but really disappointed that these actions are not logging at all. I hope someone fixes this bug so I can redownload.

Crashes with metronome

Update: Changed to 5 stars, app works well again. Thanks to developer who responded to issues.

Prior review:
Used to work well, but now can’t use metronome function, app crashes shortly whenever starting metronome. Tried reinstall, no difference. Enjoyed using this for years, will have to find something else now.

I apologize for the bad experience. Due to some personal/technical issues I have not been able to update the app. I remade the application from scratch. The latest version (6.0) is stable and the metronome works well. Thank you for being a long time user and I hope you can give this version a try.

Do not use in a real code.

App is not being updated and is unreliable. It will close on you mid-code and does not save your data.

I apologize for the bad experience. The latest version (6.0) has built-in data recovery in case you close the app without saving. It is stable and should not close on you mid-code. I hope you can give this version a try.

Very Simple

Simple is good jn codes but i wish i could have the option to modify the med list. We often give calcium and would love to see that on the list.

Happy with my purchase.

Stopped working

The metronome stopped working and it doesn’t have all the meds we use in a normal code. Don’t buy!!

This issue has been fixed as of version 3.2. If you activated the silent button, the metronome would go silent as expected. Now the app ignores this setting. Also, you can add custom medications to your list as needed. I only include a handful of the most used medications. Let me know if you need any assistance in adding custom medications. Would be amazing if this was compatible with Apple Watch as my hands are usually pretty busy during a code and could tap a button quickly on my watch or refer to timer! App on phone and iPad is fantastic!

Used this for the first time in a real code. Was great for timing, and summarizing how many rounds of epi, length of code, etc. LOVED it as a timer. The other options were nice, but would still have to go back and chart everything in the official record, which would be time consuming. What would be amazing would be to chart a code with the app and be able to import it into the hospital record! Worked best to stand next to documenter and function as the timer, but be able to add something in the app if the documenter was getting behind. Love that I can have multiple timers running at once. One change I would recommend is to make the whole timer bar touch sensitive and not just the left side. I kept finding myself wanting to tap the timer itself. For the reviewrer who mentioned there were not enough meds, you can add and make your own list!

You can add/remove medications from the list. You can also add your own custom ones. I will evaluate the ones you suggested for inclusion on the next app update. Thank you for your support.

Seems good

I think this app would be useful in a code situation. The workflow seems good. My only gripe is that we need a couple of more items. First we need a free text event so you can enter vitals, drip infusion titration, or other misc events. Secondly, it would be nice to remove accidentally entered events like an undo button. The addition of these two items would bring this app up to 6 stars.

The Code Blue app does no such thing, in fact it would have been removed by Apple if it did. No app can remove money from your account without permission. This app can only be downloaded after paying from the App Store and has no other in app monetization.
