Worthless, ad laden junk
Displays an uninterruptible ad after every file operation. That might be tolerable if there was any way to create a new file, or copy a file from one folder to another, but there isn’t. In addition to which, if you close the sidebar which has the file operations, it can never be reopened. You have to force quit the app and then reopen. Obviously the authour has never used this piece of trash.

This app worked great until lately. There is no option to open a file, only playground. Even settings doesn’t open when clicked. I can read user manual. I can view how to info, but no longer is open a file or a (+) button an option

Great app. But it‘s not possible to use it as target for „open with…“ from the files app

The app generally works overall but they should add a way to let the app take input from the user and now just put "null" as input.
Settings screen does not open - known bug, no fix yet
The Settings screen does not respond when tapped, making it impossible to change any configuration or purchase the “Remove Ads” option. This issue has already been reported by another user in April 2025, but there has been no response or fix from the developer since then. The core functionality works, but this bug makes the app very difficult to use long-term. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Good app, minor functionalities missing/ bugs
I like the app. Simple, effective for on the go code editing and compiling. I paid to remove the ads.
The issue i have with it tho, is that it does not appear in the “share to” list of text (or other filetypes e.g. html) and so you have to open them from inside the app and not directly from Apple’s files app.
Additionally i noticed there’s a bug that sometimes the file that you’ve had open is shown as empty, which you need to close it and reopen the same file.
Another minor issue, when selecting text, you don’t get the magnifying preview of where your finger is selecting.
The issue i have with it tho, is that it does not appear in the “share to” list of text (or other filetypes e.g. html) and so you have to open them from inside the app and not directly from Apple’s files app.

This app has adds in the free version, I get that, I thought maybe a small one somewhere in a corner. No, full screen ads while editing or closing files.
I love this app
It’s a great app for coding it is amazing, helpful and easy to use. the only excellent coding app I’ve ever seen but there is a little problem that the image can’t appear in the browser whatever I do I hope you solve this problem as soon as possible please 🙏

Works great!

- can link folders and edit them directly
- all the necessary features to be a usable comfortable experience
One recommendation:
It would be great to be able to edit visual styles, (eg making numbers green instead of orange etc) and advanced colouring of syntax (different colors for everything like “let thing” and “const thing” would be different colours for “thing”) this would make it five stars

Why no close tab?
I’ve just downloaded as I’ve been looking for a code editor that will open Typst files (plain text with a .typ extension). Most of the ones which don’t cost an arm and a leg won’t open them. This app does, which is great, but it seems that once you open a file, there is no way of closing its tab. That gives me pause for thought, but I’ll keep trying for the moment.
