What's New in CodeRamp

0.1.1

November 10, 2020

–– Stay motivated by keeping track of your daily streak. Learning how to code works best with daily practice. We want to help you do just that. You can now check your daily streak to stay motivated. What will your personal record days be? Every week, you can also see on which days you practiced. Try to keep all seven days ticked, and you'll be building websites in no time! –– Immerse yourself in a brand new learning experience. Coding challenges feel as real as ever. Code snippets are now closer to real code; Web previews appear in a browser-like frame. The levels in the main menu have been redesigned to look like clouds in a mysterious list. Each is an invitation to uncover the next chapter of your coding journey: What will you learn next? –– And last but not least: CodeRamp has a new icon! With an improved color scheme. We hope that you'll like it as much as we do.

Fake App

All the 5-star reviews are fake!
This app is incomplete and feels like a bad imitation of Duolingo. It only has 5 lessons that really feel like 1 lesson and then it asks you to wait until they finish the next lessons and pay for subscription (for something low quality that is not really there!).
As I'm typing this review, I noticed that the app was never updated in 2 years. Don't waste your time even downloading it.

Great! More languages please?🤷‍♀️

This App is great and very useful for me, especially that fact I’m learning IT now. This app is precise and concise; you can learn it in a condensed way but in a easier fashion. I really REALLY wished that you had Python on there because I'm having a hard time with it. I tried most coding apps for this but they just don't seem to click to me the same this app does. Hopefully or maybe one day CodeRamp will have or consider other languages like Python?🤷‍♀️. I know that would my burdens or Python nightmares away lol.

Great App, only first 5 lessons available

Definitely feels like DuoLingo which is awesome, I just wish the other lessons were available. I’d pay for it!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the positive review, Tyl3rWyl3r! It makes our day to hear that you found our app useful and enjoyable. We're currently starting to build the rest of the lessons. In the meantime, we'd love to ask you a few more questions to better understand what your goals are with learning coding, and how we can best help. Would you be up for sharing more feedback with us? If so, just drop us a quick email at hello@coderamp.app and we'll follow up with a few short questions. Speak soon!

Great for beginners!

The lessons are short and simple. It's easy to make progress. I think at some point it won't be enough to learn advanced concepts and actually code, but it's definitely a nice place to start.

It’s good

I was looking for an easy way to learn the simple basics of coding. This app is exactly that. It's like Duolingo but for coding. Can't wait for more lessons to be released!
