About
CodeScrap is a scrapbook for QR codes and barcodes. Scan a code with the camera, file it into a category, and show it again on your iPhone whenever you need it — tickets, membership cards, Wi-Fi codes, product barcodes, links.
[Scan & Save]
Point the camera at a QR code or barcode. CodeScrap reads it, redraws it as a clean, high-contrast image, and saves it with a title into the category you choose. In dark places, turn on the torch right from the scan screen.
[Bring It Back]
Open a saved code and it appears full-size, ready to be scanned by another device. Swipe left or right to flip through the other codes in the same category.
[Stories]
When codes are used in a set order, put them in a Story. Line up saved codes as "scenes", add a note to each one, and swipe left or right to bring them up in order — a trip itinerary, an event from entry to merchandise, your daily commute. The same code can appear in more than one story.
[Type & Generate]
Don't have the code in front of you? Type the text and generate a QR code or Code 128 barcode on the spot.
[Quick Scan]
Need the text behind a code just for a moment? Tap Quick Scan on the top screen: scan, copy the text to the clipboard, and you're done — saving is optional.
[Organize]
Group codes into categories. Rename, reorder, move codes between categories, and delete what you no longer need. Stories and Categories are edited separately on the top screen.
[Supported Codes]
QR, Aztec, PDF417, Code 128, Code 39, ITF-14, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Data Matrix, Code 93 (scan only)
[Private by Design]
Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no sign-in, no network, no tracking.
