Best app ever
Great app, no ads, lots of puzzles. If you complete them all, you reset them all and start over. 5 levels. Love it!
Quick and easy
Well designed and straightforward to use. This electronic version of the classic newspaper puzzles game enables you to try various combinations of letters which speeds things up quite a lot. As a consequence you will find that this version is much easier than the pencil and paper one. I ended up just downloading the hard and expert puzzles as the others were far too simple.

I searched for ‘Codewords free’ and this came up .
The first two at each level are free - then you have to pay to access more. Plus it’s American spelling, so no good for me.
Plenty of apps out there which are free.

Hooked but too many repeat words
Loving this make me relax guess where letters go. More I did I noticed and guess easily what are words as you already used those words in previous set of Codewords.
It could be easier to redownload it.
I love the game and purchased most of it. But having to delete the whole game and wonder if you will get it back does not seem like a wise choice. It would be nice to see a recent update. Thanks, Donnalou
Patronising
Like many others I find this to be a very well graduated app. However, bearing in mind the demographic it is aimed at, the randomly generated phrases at the end of each puzzle are patronising and irritating. “You Rock!” “Your on Fire!” And so on…
Please remove them, or enable an option to switch them off. They spoil an otherwise excellent app - and cost you a star.

Worth the investment.
Whether you buy one game pack or the all-inclusive Mega-pack, you’ll get your money’s worth of entertainment if you enjoy puzzles. These are challenging without being too frustrating; there’s a hint available if you need it. There may be some guesswork involved, and you may have to backtrack once in a while, but that’s part of the fun. This is an excellent game!

Try another Codeword app. Not easy to find one in the App Store.

If not for American spelling throughout when I’m a uk purchaser. A little disappointing. Could this not easily be fixed? Thanks for an otherwise good game.

I like a challenge and played the first 2 expert level games. Unfortunately, the third game had to be purchased, so I deleted the game.

This is fun. Like the different levels. I don’t playbyhe gentle and easy, and use the medium for a warm up. Good for all ages!
Well done game, but costly
The game works quite nicely. However, you get exactly 10 puzzles, which will take maybe 10 to 20 minutes to complete in total. Then the app is useless unless you want to keep paying. So I ended up just deleting it.

A great way to sharpen the mind. Worth every penny.
A little too pricey
I like Sarah’s products, but playing the free version of this one revealed that the only games presenting me with a meaningful challenge are the expert ones. The offering of 1400 games in the paid version for $7 is thus not the bargain that it originally seems, since only 200 of them would be of interest. A pity ....

Have been enjoying code words for some time now - great for whiling away odd moments!
Very Challenging but fun!
Been doing Codewords on paper for years but this is way better with no erasers necessary. When I get stuck, I love the hint provided with the question mark.
I’m Hooked!
I am really enjoying this game. I can’t play the “expert“ level without getting help to start, but find the others doable with varying levels of challenge. Great for those who love solving word puzzles that actually require thinking!
