App doesn’t work
I downloaded app and it will not work. Does not let me connect to app at all.
Over a million dollars in revenue but no updates?
My kids like it, but it’s been 3 years on a cool product with a supposed ‘mission’ and no updates. Boooo.
Old and outdated
My kids LOVED this toy/app but after about a month or two they got tired of the same songs and stories. This robot has a ton of potential for older kids 7-9, but they fall short. Think about adding songs that are less baby like (who wants to hear itsy bitsy spider after the age of 3?). Also there hasn’t been an update in two years. Bland, and boring. Also, there should be a notification when a voice message is sent.

My son loves Codi
The app seems outdated, but it works. There is a good amount in the library and it’s cool that you can add or remove songs from their library.
The things I don’t like:
I would love an alert that my son sent me a voice message so i can respond instead of him just waiting forever and I never even know.
When my son sends me a message I have to listen to it like a phone call to my ear. I wish there was a speaker option.
There are times I open the app up and it shows something is playing, so I hit pause, but that actually started to play music. So the pause play button is quirky sometimes. Annoying if you’re not close by to confirm if playing music or not.
The app lags here and there or ignores whatever I just did. Lol
Overall my son loves it, the app could be improved so the parents can love the app. 4 stars but because most of the annoying quirks don’t bother my son. Just me and my wife. I’d buy Codi again if I had to go back in time.

Too much parent work
You can schedule things. For clean up, brushing teeth, bed time and such the parent has to go to the app and press a button each time. Why on earth is it set up like that? I was thinking this would be an amazing alternative to the octopus watch. Unfortunately it’s not. It’s just a fun toy and it ends at age 8. Wish I would have known that as my child is over 7 already. The chat option doesn’t work very well, it’s a great option but wish it worked easier. It disconnects from the wifi and reconnects right away often also and it’s extremely irritating. Wish there were more song and story options. It has some really great fables just wish there was more.
