Worst App Ever

Stuck on first level not because I don’t know how to pass but because it says the correct answer is wrong and won’t let you continue. Don’t purchase this app I want my money back

Worst app i’ve ever seen for learning

I downloaded this app in hopes for a quick python lesson everyday when i’m bored. I pressed beginner with no knowledge and when i came to the first coding section which is in the very first section with a hours to minutes conversion i attempted my answer. All the app says is “compiler failed” and does not tell you A) what you messed up, or B) give you a hint to correct your work. I was confused and went to my boyfriend who showed me the correct way as well as double checking with AI to understand more what we could be doing wrong. We put the correct answer in and yet the app continued to repeat that the code was wrong. Stupidest app for learning to code i’ve ever seen. If you’re new like me, look somewhere else because this will frustrate you more than it will help you.

Poor

Tried it out app, regularly crashed out when making selections, one math challenge available without spending cash, successfully completed but no reaction and nothing else unlocked. App continues to crash not willing to spend money based on crash’s and how little I could test it for free

Doesn't work

Would be a really cool app, but the compiler fails. Everytime and the lessons are presented in an order that doesn’t make sense. It went from teaching me how to assign and name variables then started quizzing me on calculating time and using operators that we haven’t discussed. Very confusing to first time Python programmers.

Useless

I was excited to try this app. But I couldn't even go one step as the compiler keeps failing. There's literally nothing I can do with it. Even the practice exercises which I complete perfectly tell me not to worry - I assume because it considers my code to be wrong and only allows me to see the answer. Which is. Yes. Exactly the same as my code. I really wanted this app to be great. It's exciting that the developers are promising swift and Java learning paths too but hopefully not following the model of their python course.

Does not deliver as advertised! SCAM, FRAUD!

This app is poorly built. It’s a SCAM and is Fraudulent! Compiler works on one side, but not the other. They’ve been saying they are working on fixes for over a year and still nothing. Discord channel requests have gone unanswered! This app does not deliver what it promises. It is 100% deceptive in what it offers vs what you get! DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!

Compiler failed!

Does not explain anything and doesn’t put anything in an order that makes sense. Compiler does not after first section when using the app’s own solution? Uninstalling for sure

Flat out terrible

I’m a beginner coder, however I have some experience outside of java. So I was pretty excited when I felt like I was learning at a steady pace, when all of a sudden it gives me this minutes to hour problem. Without telling me how to operate the code, mind u this is my first time using Java script.

Doesn’t compile! And I’m pretty sure they just want your data!

It teaches you about variables then jumps right to calculating time…. ? Weird. And my code always “fails to compile” every time. I’ve only tried it on my iPad, so maybe it’s an iOS compatibility issue. And…… how does this app have 4.7 stars on average?! Almost every review I’ve seen is a 1 star.
Anyways…. I was disappointed 😢. I would steer clear of this one.

No review, no learning. This app is horrible and anti climactic. Not at all fun and rather frustrating. Do not use this app, it is the worst app I have tried!

Bugged and misleading

Downloaded the app because it advertises SQL coding challenges. Opened the app and there was no option to choose SQL. Not a great start, but fine... chose python instead, wanted to give the app a chance.

The first coding challenge is to calculate the net cost of an item, including tax, given its price and the tax amount. Strangely the challenge wants you to subtract your calculated tax amount from your sales price to get the expected solution. Not how tax works, but okay. I insert a single variable to solve the challenge, but after running the code I missed one of the test cases. The output for all three tests was showing an array instead of a single integer... Checked my solution against the provided one, they matched exactly...

I've seen enough. No access to advertised material on download, incorrect calculations, and bugged solution detection, all on the first challenge? Immediately uninstalling.

The first section suddenly jumps to something that isn’t nor wasn’t covered. It’s like a sudden difficulty jump out of no where.
