About

Start the timer, log bean temp as it climbs, tap the moment you hear first crack, and Drupe draws the curve. It is the roast log for home coffee roasters who want to know why this batch tasted better than the last one. Most roasting apps are built for a shop with a probe wired into a drum. Drupe is built for a popcorn machine, an air roaster, or a small drum on the stove: you read the thermometer, type the number, and the chart takes shape while the beans are still moving. Every roast is tied to the lot it came from, the origin that lot came from, and the cup score you gave it afterwards. WHAT YOU GET • A live temperature curve for every batch, with first and second crack marked as dashed lines you can compare across roasts • A chime and a haptic pulse the instant you tap first crack, so your eyes stay on the beans, not the screen • Development percentage calculated automatically from crack to drop, next to the range each roast level calls for • A target profile per bean: roast level, total time, drying, Maillard, and development minutes, plus the second you expect first crack • An origin notebook with country, region, process, varietal, altitude, and tasting notes, and lots that track green weight and date acquired • Cup scores and notes on every roast, rolled up into an Insights page that ranks your origins by how they actually tasted PERFECT FOR • Home roasters chasing a repeatable light roast on a heat gun, air roaster, or popcorn popper • Small-batch drum roasters who want a record of every lot without a laptop on the bench • Green-bean buyers deciding which origin and process earned a second order • Anyone on their first bag of green coffee who wants to understand first crack, not just hear it WHY NOT JUST A NOTEBOOK OR A STOPWATCH? A stopwatch tells you when the roast ended. A notebook tells you what you meant to do. Drupe puts the temperature points, the crack times, the development percentage, and the cup score on one screen for one roast, and then lines the roasts up side by side so the pattern is obvious: which origin, which profile, which drop temperature gave you the cup you keep going back to. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Every origin, lot, profile, and roast stays on your iPhone. No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync, no analytics, no ads. Drupe works fully offline at the bench, the balcony, or the garage. FULL ACCESS Drupe requires a subscription or a one-time purchase after onboarding. Choose a weekly plan, a yearly plan, or a lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them at any time in your App Store account settings. The exact price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm. Add your first lot, pick a profile, and log the next roast from charge to drop.
