不值得

每个分类只有10道题,题目比较简单,测试时就是10道题,做完就没有了,每次出来的10道题都一样。总共也没有100题,不值这个价钱。

Still not for kindergartners: 12–23–18

This is still not for kindergartners. It has many questions that require reading. Kindergartners don’t even know how to read.
Verbal skills questions just doesn’t make sense for a kindergartner.
Some of the picture problems didn’t make sense either. They don’t make sense. (I have a Masters degree in engineering.)

Completely avoid this product.

Disappointed

I’m so disappointed I didn’t read the reviews. It is for 2nd grade and not Kindergarten so what a waste of money. I guess I will continue to wait for my books from Barnes and Noble.

Not suitable for kindergarten.

Not as described.

Not for Kindergarten. Waste of money. No returns.

This is for 2nd grade-as stayed in the “About” section. Other grade levels of this app have many mistakes- this entire app is a mistake.

Response from developer

Hello and happy holidays, apologies for the very late response. Team Polemics just learned that we can respond to user reviews. Thanks for the feedback! The About Section of the app was a copy/paste error from our 2nd grade app. We have updated to version 1.1 and fixed the typo. Our apologies for the confusion. Feel free to send email to info@polemicsmath.com

Not for kindergarten

This app is not suitable for kindergarteners. I bought it and the 5th grade one for my son, and some of the same questions are in both apps. The word questions are so advanced, she can't even read the words, and she is going into first grade, reading above grade level.

Response from developer

Hello and thanks for the feedback! If you are interested in a longer conversation please send email to info@polemicsmath.com. As for your concerns here they are noted and we'll take a look at dialing down the difficulty in the verbal area. A few questions should carry over from one grade to the next as these are logic type puzzles and are applicable to different levels. We shouldn't see questions from Kindergarten level appearing in the 5th grade app except one exception - some questions are to display a basic kind of format for familiarization purposes more so than training. For example the questions that look like a single picture full of lines and shapes that has a white box on it and the student is asked to guess what is behind the white box... we are asking the student to look at the answers and mentally evaluate the answers and select which one fits the best. Anyway thanks again for the feedback, if you are in the 2018-2019 school year and entering COGAT season this January/February do look back here as we are looking to make updates across this winter break.

This is for 2nd grade.

Not kindergarten as described. I wish I would have read the other review. If your child is taking the second grade test I do believe this would be a nice app but it's not the kindergarten test.

Description taken directly from the app:

This app is used as a training tool for students in second grade preparing for the CogAT Test. Please note this app is not to be confused with the actual CogAT Test. App is not as described

Although "kindergarten" is in the name of the app it does NOT follow the kindergarten level CogAT. In fact, the description found within the app after purchased is that it is prep for the second grade level. This is very frustrating to find such a false description of a purchased app
