Horrible
This is horrible. If we had any other choice of provider we would be switching. The box they make you get is horrible, we’re on our third box and still have to restart multiple times a week because half the functions just randomly stop working pretty much every other day.
I’d much rather be able to just run this natively on my Sony Google tv, but despite the box being android, and the app being available for android devices, they refuse to make a google tv compatible app. Why?!?! If it has something to do with licensing for the box manufacturer, good gawd that was a mistake, they should get out of that contract asap.
Seriously Cogeco, there is no point of having boxes anymore, the current box is letting your customers down anyway, just make an app compatible with enough devices and give people the choice of what they want to use. Seriously, forget the box, make the app for apple tv, GoogleTV, Tizen, WebOS and Roku and let people choose their preferred device! You could even give people a Roku stick or something if they really needed a streaming option.
Their previous TiVo service was way better, at least that box don’t randomly stop working every second day.
I brought my frustrations up to them a year or two ago and was told a major update was just around the corner, they were calling it Cogeco+ or something along that lines….years later and no major update has ever appeared and the box still sucks!
Honestly, if you have any other option for tv service at a comparable price, I’d look elsewhere.

Problème diffusion ChromeCast
Depuis la mise à jour apple de mars 2026, l’application ne détecte plus les modules Chromecast. Pourquoi l’application n’est pas encore disponible pour diffuser en AppleTV…?
Sous-Titres
pas possible de mettre les sous titres hors fonction sur iPad. Même après avoir désactivé les sous-titres dans le menu Accessibilité du profil, tous les canneaux continue d’afficher les sous titres. HO je viens de faire un test surprenant. le menu est inversé. Si on active les sous-titres, ils disparaissent ha ha ha.

Garbage
Cogeco has failed big time with this app.
The TiVo system was a thousand times better.
Having to stream everything (including recordings)could have benefitted if it worked properly. But alas it does not on the provided hardware. All the reverse and forward functions barely work, and the step function is a joke.
The worst thing is the streaming of recordings where using multiple forward and reverse moves will cause the machine to crash.
And the remote disconnects quite often. What a pain.
If I could leave zero stars I would.

Don't waste your time
If I could give this zero stars, I would. The app struggles to even open, let alone actually stream anything.

I switched from virgin to cogeco. Downloaded the epic app won’t even let me sign up. I cast a lot from my phone and it’s a struggle to even connect half the time. Think I made a bad decision

I’ve never written a review before this is my first review. It is so terrible that I had to say something. It won’t even load for me, just a blank white screen.
Avoid Cogeco
App is complete garbage (currently not even working). Cogeco system/user interface is garbage. Navigation (whether app or remote/tv) is clunky. Regret leaving my other provider. Cogeco is terrible.
Guide
Ever since the last update,the EPICO app on my phone doesn’t load the guide. I have to go to another device to see the guide. I too recently switched from Bell and I kind of regret that I did.
On channels
Cannot watch any Channels now all say out of home even the ones I was able to get 😡
