Keep Freezing
App definitely needs some fine tuning. It froze and would not let me proceed with the hair quiz. It got stuck on question two. I close the app and tried to re-open it and once again, it got stuck. I then tried to delete my account, and it would not allow me to delete it. I ultimately just deleted it from my phone.

Great Idea, Needs Work
I love this app idea! I really do and I want to support it. I think it’s so powerful to have an app just full of black styles but the developers really need to invest more work into it. The app is clunky and there are a lot of errors. When you click on a style and view it or like it, once you click the back button, it takes you all the way back to the top of the page. Adding your own hairstyles is an even bigger nightmare. The photos don’t format correctly and ive also been able to edit other people’s posts which is concerning to me. Lastly, I think the match system is interesting but faulty. It gives me higher matches for people with loose Afro hair and very low matches for people with locs when I have locs. I also can’t filter between faux locs and actual locs so when I’m scrolling through the loc filter, most of the posts don’t relate to me. Again, I think this is a great innovation and I plan to keep the app but please please please invest more time, energy, money, something into making it work better.

I found the app on Twitter. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and want to share my experiences and services with others. I have tried uploading my hair photos and nothing is showing on my profile. Not sure how long it takes to upload but I tried three times. I even tried up loading one photo at a time instead of three but even that post didn’t upload. I’m ver confused and would like some help. I’m really excited to use this app.

Many functional issues
The app looks amazing in theory but I can’t select things. Like I was trying to do the hair quiz and it wouldn’t let me select my hair type. I just left it alone. Got to the end of the quiz and it wouldn’t let me complete it. I know it’s not my phone I have a 13 pro max. I would love to rate this again after bug fixes.

This app has potential, it’s like Pinterest for black hair care but it’s got some issues. It doesn’t always let you post and doesn’t load properly sometimes.

Needs an Update Badly
I made an account but none of my data is saved. My hair quiz selections won’t save and the quiz does not finish when I tap complete. This is all I’ve seen of the app so I can’t speak to anything else but this is a great idea and it has a lot of potential…

There is little to nothing for people with dreadlocks. There isn’t even a “dreadlocks” option when creating an account.

As someone who is not well versed in hair care (throw all the tomatoes, i welcome it atp😭) for my specific hair type, having an app that can showcase specific styles and products right there all in one place for me is SO convenient. People like myself who flunked out of YouTube university when it came to learning about hair, now have the holy grail for black gir hair info! Thank you 😭 Who has time to sit there googling “products for 4b/4c, low porosity, medium length thick, stubborn hair” ? Definitely not me
