I installed CoinGecko simply to monitor cryptocurrency prices and trends. After reading the privacy policy, I deleted it.
The extent of data collection — including IP addresses, device and browser information, usage behaviour, analytics, advertising technologies and potentially cryptocurrency wallet addresses depending on the features used — is far more than I’m comfortable with for an app I only want to use to check market prices.
CoinGecko may provide a useful service, but I’d prefer a considerably more privacy-focused approach to something as simple as monitoring Bitcoin.

The widgets are awful, I cannot even choose a coin for the widget, it is not working at all, I choose the coin and noting happens !!!

The first
Freezes in iPhone
I only give this app 3 stars because it always freezes to a white blank screen when opening on iPhone. The app needs to be forced closed and then opened to function. This does not happen on my android devices.
This app keeps failing to show on my screen
Every time I try to get into app it does not load, black screen. I’ve deleted serval time, work every now and then but then fails to load over and over. Is this a bug?
Horrible update
Submit a support ticket, your told not submitted, verify in your email. And they never send an email. Who buys by the individual price per coin? Who? Worst update to add transactions ever. Everyone i know buys by total price that includes fee’s, but after years you go screw up adding transactions and make it by price per coin, it literally takes 68 try’s editing the price per coin to get the total right! Why would you do this??? And the total is now so small and dark we have to squint to see it. Why am I paying for Premium when you turned this app into nothing but a total time wasting pain with that horrible update. Put it back to how adding transactions was for YEARS! Why would you trash your own app like this??? We’re actively searching for a good app again, this is just dumb.

Who buys by the individual price per coin? Who? Worst update to add transactions ever. Everyone i know buys by total price that includes fee’s, but after years you go screw up adding transactions and make it by price per coin, it literally takes 33 try’s editing the price per coin to get the total right! Why would you do this??? And the total is now so small and dark we have to squint to see it. Finicky update
A few times recently I’ve noticed that when I go to claim my candies, the screen looks like I’ve claimed for the day. But when I come back the following day, I’m starting from 10 candies again! Not acceptable!
