Rip off

I signed up on 9/22/26 for one month trial for 0.99 cents. I also clicked on notify before renewal. It stated renewal was on 9/22/26 but on 8/24/26 they hit my account for $43.95. I was trying this app & Coin Chat. And I found coin chat was above & beyond this app. & Coin Chat is free.

Great

Great app for identifying coins. Only had a couple it couldn’t figure out cause they were brand new so they could work on timely updates and it would be awesome if they added Canadian coin official sets like they have for the US and other countries

Wheat penny

How could a 1941 Lincoln wheat penny not even be worth a penny? (According to your app).

Worthless

Please people don’t waste your money tried the app and never gave me a price on the only thing I needed help with .. then wants to charge $40 a month … what’s the sense in saving coins if you’re gonna spend all your money on this app

good app

I just wish it would identify error coins

🤷🏼‍♀️

This app is less than mediocre.
It doesn’t update satisfactorily enough with the current coins out in circulation. I’ve been waiting months for them to input the U.S. Semiquentennial coins-they still aren’t current. When you submit an issue to the company, it doesn’t get resolved & you are always answered by a robot~not a human. You would think that for an app that you are paying a subscription for the service, it would actually provide “service”!!

Broken

Took a pic of a fake coin which you claimed it was real!!’

Beware of “Free” Trial

They charged me $39.99 before my free trail expired. I requested a refund and they sent me to a third party billing company who ignored my refund requests. Bait and switch scam. Never used it but was still billed. I do not recommend this company solely for this reason!

Coin identification

Great starting point to start organizing, identifying and value made easy. Doesn’t seem to help identify errors or similar coins to look out for rarity or high value coins

The app is missing the America The Beautiful quarter series.

Why is the ATB quarter series missing?

Good

It’s very useful

Beware

I used the trial period to review coins left by my late father. I set a reminder to cancel the trial period as I will likely never use this app again. Imagine my surprise when I’m charged $39.99 before that trial has ended and am unable to be refunded. Use another app that’s free or at least honors its free trial period.

It sucks

First time it showed a quarter to be $345 the second and third time it showed it to be $.33-$.37 so it sucks and it's not honest

Update

You could make an update where you could add multiple coins with 1 scan instead of doing them one at a time

Better and better

The CoinSnap app continues to improve. It is identifying old foreign coins well, translating markings from many languages, and has a larger data storage than it used to.

Perfecto

Great coin collecting app

I have been using CoinSnap for over a year and am very happy with the information and accuracy it provides

I dig the App.

Learning about coins now, this late in the game. Was wonder if the app gets updates to identify 2026 coins.

Just started

I’m liking it
