Not better than sonicare
I brought this thinking it would be better than the sonicare. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. When I first started using it, I thought it worked great. After using it for some time, I realized even though I wasn’t being notified while brushing, my angle and my speed were scored really low. I called the Colgate Hum support to get some advice on what I should do to improve the situation. Even though the rep I spoke to was really nice, he told me I would be getting an email with a reply advising what I could do to fix the situation. That was several weeks ago and I still have no reply. I really wanted to like this toothbrush. However, it leaves much to be desired. 😕

brushing is no longer a chore!
I got one for my kid and she loves it! She actually gets excited to brush her teeth and fun to watch. So I got one. For adults it’s very informative and helpful, not critical or hard to use. FYI- you can’t have kid’s version and adult’s version on the same app. Make sure you do the adults, the kids with a different email account or it won’t sync correctly. But definitely worth the buy.

Such a neat and useful app!!!
I’ve been using this app connected to my hum tooth brush. It helps guide and show you what areas you need more coverage to brush. It knows which area you’re brushing and also tells you to tilt your brush to get in the exact spot you need for whatever area you’re brushing. But the neat thing about this app is that every time you brush you collect Colgate points to spend on Colgate is super dope in my book. LOVE THIS APP!!!

New way of being mindful
The app and guided brushings really make this toothbrush worth it! I’m still getting used to the routine, but the guided brushings are super helpful and help you to be a little more mindful with your brushing.
Love brushing my teeth
I have adhd and have always struggled with brushing my teeth good and the right amount. I have never had a cavity but always get feedback from my dentist that I need to brush better in order to get plaque off my teeth and to keep better care of my gums. This app changed that and my dentist told me that I am doing an amazing job. I would recommend h to us app to anyone and the kids app to all the kids. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is the lack of activities that are in the app. Other than that I love it

No credit for offline brushing Fixed!
The new app update doesn’t give credit for offline brushing and doesn’t seem to be tracking brush usage. Very disappointed with this change.
Update: The following app release fixed the problem of no credit for offline brushing. Can’t tell yet if brush usage is being tracked yet, since it’s only been a week since I changed it.

Great app to help make sure you are not missing any teeth while you are brushing. Helps make sure you are not brushing to hard or to fast. Has great fun games for kids to play while they brush their teeth.

This is a good update. Some suggestions:
The activities should be more accessible in the home page. Bring back the ability of having more than one toothbrush in the app.

New app update awful
I was happy with the previous app layout and relative simplicity. The new update makes it so confusing with a million different things that you are forced to respond to or they won’t leave the screen. I feel that I am been forced to by a new brush in order for it to work with this new app.
I am now looking for another toothbrush that will just give me the info I am looking for and not a circus of options.

Fun and Informative
Great app and great idea. Would love to know a little more of the detail when brushing, but cool technology. Brush occasionally loses connection, but I’m learning how to help it. Only criticism with the app is that it doesn’t refresh from one portion to the next very easily and you can’t do a “pull down to refresh” (ex. I completed a badge and got the notification on one page, but when I went to my award summary page, it still had the previous level/how many more points I needed before I completed the activity) quitting and restarting didn’t help either. It updated by the next day, but this has happened multiple times and is annoying. I wanna work up my points for that new toothbrush for my husband!! Haha

Watch app
I got this app to use with my Apple Watch. It is a great timer. The app breaks your teeth up into 6 sectors and has you brush each section for 20 seconds with a chime and shake in between each. This great,BUT I would like to request you also add a chime and a shake after the final section, this way I don’t have to look at my watch to know that I am done. Thanks for a great app, and I am looking forward to a greater one.

Surprisingly useful!
Was given the toothbrush and app as gift and initially thought it was “gimmicky”. However, now that i’ve used it for several months I’m certain that my brushing habits are significantly better! The app isn’t perfect with regards to detecting which teeth are brushed, but it’s certainly good enough to be very effective.

Decent enough
The Colgate app is pretty straight forward, and I have to say actually completely altered the way I brush for the better. There are some things I would change though, but overall a solid app, and one that genuinely teaches you how to brush properly, and rewards you for it.
Inconsistent App
I’ve been using the E1 and app for several years. Gave reliable info until I used the Beta app, following which I lost all historical data and now does not capture daily data. Points are accumulating but no data on bruising time and coverage.
Great, fun app
Ever since I got this app, I have had so much fun brushing my teeth and honestly I look forward to doing it. Great app. Only problem is that sometimes it doesn’t connect with my brush and will say I missed a spot of my mouth but I’m doing it but it just won’t register. Other than that I have no problems or complaints about it!

Great app and toothbrush!
Bought the toothbrush after seeing it at Apple store. I was kind of skeptical at first, but once o started using it and using the app I LOVED it.
Makes brushing your teeth fun. Love seeing the coaching mode, and being able to make sure ALL your teeth are brushed.

I wish if you could add an option to clean the tongue after brushing (could be toggled on or off depending on users)
Most of my family members are using either the e1 or the m1 now, if there could be a friend compete system that would be even better, could keep my entire family motivated.

Great Product
I’m an adult and brushing my teeth twice a day and for the correct amount of time is impossible for me. This app has fun activities that make it easier. The coaching and hints are great. I love that with consistent brushing I earn points and the points can go toward new brush heads or other items.

This app has made a life changer I get cavities REALLY EASY and my dad showed me this and I had to try it so my dad had already had the toothbrush and he got me one and I got the app and last time I went to the dentist I didn’t have a single cavity. This app finds the spots in ur teeth were you are supposed to be brushing but idk abt you guys but I didn’t even think to brush on the inside of my teeth but the app showed me what I was doing wrong and the perfect angles and speed!!! The app is just amazing I DEFINITELY recommend it💯💯💯
