Amazing!!!

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the choose-your-own-adventure scenarios as much as I did. They’re so well-written and really make you feel the pressure of making the right decisions. It’s both fun and educational.

Cool survival app

This is the only app which I could find on survivor and I like the simulation which looks so realistic I would suggest every one should use it

I needed this App

I can’t say enough good things about Collapse Survivor! The scenarios are incredibly well-written, and they force you to think critically about decisions you’d make in real-life disasters. It’s not just a game—it’s a tool that makes you more prepared for anything life throws at you.

Love it!

This app provides me opportunities to think about preparation scenarios and actions I would take that I would not have thought about otherwise. I love it! It has challenged me to think outside the box, and helps me focus on the preparations I need to improve the most.

What a joke

1st attempt:Tried to sign in after setting up account error message in red appears: “The user does not have access rights to the content. Wait two more days 2nd attempt message in red appears: Cannot seem to find user account. Lolz sent message to team via their website have but have been waiting days still no response. Complete waste of time and waste of space on my phone. Deleting now. Don't waste your time or energy on this app its st8 trash.

Great in theory

Poor in execution. The code is bad. It’s glitchy and looks like something out of the early 2000s. The simulations are a joke, and they attempt way too hard to make a storyline.

Scam

I spent 15 minutes detailing what a garbage app this is, but it got deleted somehow. Not going to rewrite it. These people are dishonest scammers who insist upon collecting highly personal information, try to sell their products to incentivize you to survive, use garbage (basically all the same) “simulations” that fail to take multiple considerations into account (how did I die of thirst despite living on an uncontaminated lake and a hand pump well?). In another simulation I survived but “due to actuarial tables and the dreaded random number generator” I died this year, despite being in vital good health and fitness although I’m exiting middle age. I ran their simulation multiple times. Died this year every time. It doesn’t seem very random. And the fact that they describe Trump supporters as violent aggressors when we all know the exact opposite is the truth, pretty much tells you all you need to know about where their heads are. If my identity isn’t stolen, I’ll be sure to be getting junk mail. To top it off, I paid for a year subscription, but when I canceled the renewal a year from now, my access was cut off immediately. Stay far, far away.

Very Intriguing, but Major Security flaw

I got this app after reading about it in a news article. There’s a 30-day free trial and I used that to run through the grid collapse scenario. I found it to be thought provoking and worthwhile, and I planned to go through one of their real-time scenarios.

But...

The next time I opened the app, it asked me for my iOS passcode in order to open it. This is a HUGE security problem. I deleted the app.

To me, the best case scenario is that this app was developed by a third party who disagrees with the business model or politics of those who contracted it. They inserted this ‘poison pill’ to give the app a bad reputation. If this is the case, the people who paid for its development have some sort of recourse. There are many possibilities for a worst-case scenario.

I hope to hear that this app has been improved and I will consider getting it again.
