Don’t waste your money, the site is filled with advertisements and technical issues. Terrible user experience. Can get the same info for free elsewhere.

The app crashes on about every 4th school you click on. What a joke.
Still Crashing …
Wish I had read the reviews before handing over all my kids’ data. I trusted the name US News & World Report and that was a mistake. Folks were complaining about the app crashing a year ago and guess what? Yep, still a problem. I used the app successfully for 10 minutes before it failed over and over again. This is simply a data stealing/selling app that offers nothing in return. I want my data back.

Hangs and crashes constantly
The UI looks really great. Way easier to search and set parameters than USN website. But then it crashes or hangs on a black screen, totally unresponsive. What’s the point if you can’t see any details.
Waste of time
For a tool that could be useful if done properly, this app clearly gets no time or attention. It does not deliver any of the personalization it claims, crashes constantly, and offers no support whatsoever. It’s an embarrassment to US News to have something like this out there. You’ve been warned here - Don’t bother with this. For the developers - Just take this app down and save everyone the headache!

College Compass is too inflexible
There seems to be no way to simple look at colleges and universities as ranked. The My Fit algorithm is garbage, and the help and FAQ buttons take you to the US News & World Report website with links to everything BUT help with the APP. Let the user go through schools in rank order (and choose from any of the many ranking categories). Right now the App is unusable and more distracting than helpful in research colleges to make a list.
