I love the colors

One of the main reason I downloaded this app is the colors 😂 but turned out it’s a decent app.

I would add a distance filter but other than that it’s a great way to socialize with people on campus! Also it’s very different in terms of content from other similar apps like yikyak (less toxicity)

Not mobile friendly

This app looks like it was designed for computers. I have to scroll everywhere on my 12 mini. And I can’t figure out how to save my profile pictures

Fake reviews

A remarkable number of these reviews are fake. The app doesn’t allow you to do anything until you are “verified” and the privacy concerns on that “verification” are incredibly alarming.
I’d avoid using this app. Who knows what they’re doing with your data.

hello 💚🐫 College Souk is a marketplace restricted to students only, the verification process is simply entering a 5-digit code that you receive in your school email's inbox. Unfortunately, there is no other way to verify that a user belongs to a university without making sure that they possess a school email address associated with the institution. I want to clarify that we are not a company, this app is not for profit and your data will never be sold to any third-party vendor or shared without your consent! To your last point, our reviews are legitimate since apple curates ratings, and reviews before publishing them to the general public. It would also be tricky to fake as many ratings. I don’t really write reviews but really nice app!!

Straightforward to use, I was able to sublease my place for the summer and sold half my closet! One thing I would add is the loading wheel animation when you scroll down is a little distracting but other than that great!!!! I like the UI and design slick

Great marketplace for students with a modest budget

This app has helped me save great amounts of money throughout my 4 years in college. I was able to completely redecorate my room for less than $100 including a tv. Would recommend for every single college student out there.

Very convenient and easy to use

It’s my junior year of college now, at Brooklyn College and between the tuition and the transportation costs, I’m very conservative about my spendings. This app allowed me to renovate my dorm with some pretty new and modern furniture that other students were selling at a low cost. The whole community in the app is friendly as well. I would’ve gave this app more than 5 stars if I could!
