Okay except
Mixed UK and USA terms on occasion
Excellent resource
Helps in communicating with Polacks.
Great app!
This Polish dictionary app is great and it’s very easy to use! The only thing I wish it would do is have a button that would say the word to make sure I’m pronouncing it correctly.
Great app
Efficient app
Good but not sufficient
Very good tool, easy to use, i wish it could have more complete set
Mostly good
This is a good dictionary for the price. But I find it annoying that it always defaults to English>Polish, when I consistently use it in the other direction. Perhaps I’m missing a trick, but it’s not obvious how I could make Polish>English the default.

Very useful for me. However previous interface was more readable
Perfect helper,love it!!!!!
Perfect, very useful app for people with english as a second language
Good, however
Good offline dictionary with a big bunch of words. I would like to have more examples of usage connection with prepositions. One thing is missing: live pronunciation and examples of sentences.
Preferred the previous version
I think the Collins dictionary is the best for Polish because it has a usefully broad vocabulary. Some of the links which used to exist no longer work e.g. between verb and perfective. It would also be useful to have a pronunciation guide, such as in the Spanish-English dictionary. Even if you know the Polish pronunciation rules, there are some words which seem impossible to pronounce and I’m sure that’s true for Poles learning English too.

Excellent
Excellent
This is a very good dictionary, clearly laid out and easy to use.
Great for use on the go
This does everything I need it to.
Lacks my key requirement for a smartphone dictionary
The app requires an internet connection whenever you want to look up a word. REALLY annoying if you're on a plane, lacking a good signal or trying to conserve roaming data. All other Collins dictionaries I have store the data offline: why not this one? Very poor.
I’m English living in Poland
I find this app more reliable than online translations. Great that it’s available offline too.
good dictionary
good dictionary but clunky design and really annoying requests for reviews, so here it is
Quite good but...
what it lacks is the ability of adding your own words and expanding the dictionary database. Having said that, not many dictionaries allow that.
All in all, it's quite a useful little app. Also, the ‘review’ message would not go away and it practically forces you to do it, which is rather annoying.
Would also be grateful for the database expansion..

Disappointing versus other Collins dictionaries
I sought a premium offline dictionary for Polish-English and, after enjoying the Collins offering in French, Italian & German, I hoped this one might follow the same template. Sadly not.
My main complaint is that it doesn’t have the same conjugation feature that makes the others so useful.
Secondly, the other dictionaries allow scrolling through entries as you might leaf the pages of a dictionary. It is annoying that this app doesn’t give you the same freedom.
Additionally, whilst I like the idea of regular prompts designed to explore the language, the “word of the day” is a half-baked effort. I find it disappointing to get prompted on words that are identical to the English translation.
The menu panel gives the impression of many features but I think the developers should be satisfied when they have done the basics right - the games should go elsewhere (for free). The dictionary’s asking price is a lot of money to spend on an app and this one is definitely too much.
