Portuguese dictionary
Much worse than my other dictionaries! Won’t stay on English to Portuguese for searches and insists on giving me a ‘word to learn’ each day. Very irritating.
Great definitions and revision games
Definitely more reliable than Google Translate! I like the flashcards and hangman features too. The voice search feature is nice but frustrating that it only works on the hone screen (not the actual search screen...)
Verbs!!!
There appears to be no facility to conjugate verbs. Am I missing something simple. Beginning to regret the purchase.

I have come across a fairly sizeable number of Portuguese words for which no translation is available, but this problem affects a number of Portuguese-English dictionaries.

Why did they ruin the interface?
I used to really like the interface to this app. I could read it almost like a physical dictionary, discovering new words page by page.
Now it looks like a game for first or second graders. Why did you ruin what was a nice app? I opened it up for the first time in a few months and it was so depressing. Uninstalling, will look for something better.

Collins Portuguese dictionary
Good robust tool to learn the language. Be aware if learning for Brazil there are some words used only in Portugal. Would help if this was highlighted.

This is an excellent dictionary whether you wish English-Portuguese or Portuguese-English. I use it several times a week and have never been disappointed. There is also some support for the conjugated forms of the 3 verb types, but it is not extensive. It's strength is as a dictionary. Highly recommended.

Great implementation of a fine dictionary
I have this one in hardcopy (about 750pp), and I'm delighted to be able to consult it on my iPhone also. The whole text is there. I especially like the way Collins manages pronunciations of Portugueuse entries. Just one thing lacking, as always: full-text searching. Whoever offers that first, for major, established dictionaries, will earn huge rewards for their service to language buffs and to the world at large. (Come on. It's not rocket surgery, guys!)
