Misleading

Not an offline dictionary.

Where did the verb conjugations go?

This update makes the dictionary significantly less useful and I do not like it at all.

Great

Yep it’s really great

collins spanish dictionary

complete!

Fantastic app

So glad I started using the App! Learnt so much even though my wife has a better streak than I do.

If you want to learn another language it’s a no brainier!

Horrible

I had the previous version of this dictionary and it was wonderful. However, when I purchased a new Ipad, previously purchased Collins dictionary would not work.

So I bought this app. It was a waste of money. This version is just plain horrible. There are only very basic translations and no example sentences. Do not purchase this app.

Disappointed

I had the previous Collins Dictionary app with worked super well with examples and full verb conjugations. This just seems like an ordinary Spanish app. Am disappointed.

Collins spanish dictionary

Tenía el anterior diccionario de Collins: fantástico. Al cambiar de iphone no puedo volver a instalarlo y me he visto obligado a comprar este otro que es ¡verdaderamente malo! Al ser profesor de inglés lo uso cada día y la diferencia es abismal :(

Fabuloso

Muy util.

Good dictionary

Comprehensive, accurate dictionary. Easy & reliable to use. Useful list of recent words & possible to make lists of ‘favourite’ words for revision

New words?

I’ve been using the app recently (2020) and it’s excellent and of course it goes both ways. Even has somewhat obscure words such as recorder - which I play.

However, despite the most recent update being 2018, it only has iPod and not yet even iPad or iPhone. Aren’t they adding commonly used newer words?

Otherwise the dictionary is very good for its target audience of beginners.

Very limited

Dictionary very poor and lacking in definitions. Not what I expected from Collins at all

Very useful indeed

Love the format and the various uses of words and phrases and idioms using the word are great.

Preferred old version

This is a useful dictionary for me. Sometimes it is not clear the best translation when there are a few. It also isn’t sometimes clear on LA vs Mainland Spain preferences. However I use daily and think best Spanish dictionary app

Best Spanish dictionary

Great product. Covers American as well as European Spanish.

A marvellous travel companion

In Buenos Aires again and finding the dictionary indispensable as I have done on all my trips to Spanish-speaking countries. Wouldn’t be without it.

Oswestry Golfer

Very handy to have in your pocket

Keep having to change preferences

The dictionary is good but it’s really frustrating that it always defaults to English>Spanish option. If you look up a Spanish word and then return to your search you have to select the direction again as it flips back to English first. Really annoying and time wasting - which is a shame as the dictionary itself is useful. Please fix this bug!!

Works well

Easy to use and has most of the words I have needed to look up so far.

Fault in the app

I cannot remove a word of the day that repeatedly appears every day. The word is ‘whiskers’ and no matter what I try it will not clear
